  • Hi All,
This video is the first in a series of educational videos about styling/cutting hair for clients that have either problematic hair type (too fine, thick, curly etc) or might have problematic head shapes that make it difficult to achieve a balanced cut.
All of the models are regular customers at my salon and each have graciously permitted me to use them in these videos.
I provide cutting method diagrams as we progress through each cut so that you can pause, review, replay and understand the reason for each of the different cutting methods used.
This video is of a concave bob-cut for a lovely lady called Judy (82 years young) and the main problem that she has is that her head is disproportionately large at the rear and so we try to balance this out as we create the bob-cut style.
Please be kind in your comments as this is my very first UA-cam video post (and my first attempt at video editing).
    Kind regards,
    Jesse

This was the first shorter cut you gave me and it was absolutely awesome! Amazing to see how it’s done with geometry and science. Well done Jesse 👏

      Hi Tanya,
I had a lot to learn to do this.
It was both painful and yet fun and rewarding (english language is so strange to me). :o)

Hey John, a long way for Michelle to travel for a hairstyle, but if you ever bring her to Australia, she will be treated like a queen in my salon ... :o)

Thank you, creating the video seemed way more difficult to me than the hairstyling (mind you, I have been doing that for the last 20 years!) ... lol :o)
