As an American I have never watch Norwegian live news TV, but just like here in the United States it can go wrong. Today I am very excited to see some of the funniest live TV clips from a news channel in Norway. If you enjoyed the video feel free to leave a comment, like, or subscribe for more!
@13:30 A person fishing got more on the hook than he had expected. "Whatever you do, do not pull the line" said the nudist.
So basically he was fishing near at nudist beach and somehow hooked someone else.
Two notes. The guy who broke the glass was our former prime minister, and currently the General Secretary of NATO.
And second... It seems like they have a lot of problems. But I believe this is a 10 year compilation (or something like that) so it isn't that bad.
Something you will be able to appreciate about Norwegians in general (and from these clips) is that we do not take ourselves too seriously.
But we love to brag about ourselves...

I see some teens mockingly writing comments about buying Sweden, but apart from that I feel like most people don't take themselves seriously or brag, it's actually frowned upon to do so. You can brag sure, but no one will like you if you do.
The one where it looked like the reporter was falling forward was actually the camera falling and him trying to stop it.

He pronounced the name, Ellen Degeneres as if her name was Norwegian. And it sounded really awkward from a Norwegian point of view.

She jumped ahead in the script, started reading the next news segment, one about salmon. The correct news segment was about the royal family.
1:29 AHAHAHAHAHA, that's Jan Ove Ekeberg, a very good friend of mine, and my father's (rest in peace) best friend. He has retired from TV long ago though, and is now one of Norway's biggest authors, doing historically accurate viking stories. Strangely I had not seen this clip, so I'll be be forwarding it to him to add to his embarrassment.
The boat was most likely not trying to ruin the live broadcasting 😅
The horn is used to communicate certain things, like a certain time before they leave the harbour for example. Not that I know a lot. But I live by the ocean and in the summer time its common to hear them.
Also the picture of the man holding the fishing pole a bit low, they were talking about a man that caught a pp on the nudist beach😂

It was actually on my birthday she sung the weather. My favourite was her being just a head showing after someone complained about her covering the map with her body, and the time she was an astronaut, it was fun. 😂

Agreed 😂 and his norwegian isen't all that bad really, some words he says are fluant norwegian, is he keeps learning norwegian he may become fluant in norwegian, at least understand norwegian 😊

Reacting with anger when someone makes an innocent mistake is considered rude in Norway. Laughing about it the right way to go.
Being Norwegian myself, I could understand everything, but the video really should have come with English or optional language subtitles.

Did something similar to my sister when we were growing up.
I released the lure too early and instead of going forward like I thought it would; it ended up going backwards.
When I thrust the pole forward, I suddenly heard a very loud scream.
The lure had attached itself to my sister's ponytail...
I too was lucky, as it could've ended way worse.

Seems to be about a change in import tax rules, and they are talking about import of foreign panties/underwear as an example for some reason. That sure is.. one of the effected import items.

For a lot of these it's more about the thing they are talking about is silly rather than them saying something wrong.
The one in the end where she was talking about customs or something and suggested ordering panties and underwear. I mean why not.

She says something "Orthodoxi", so I assume she was trying to preach about orthodox church? I do see these around Oslo, but they are never all that up in my face and usually respectful enough to leave me alone if I decline speaking to them.
10:00 Norway is not a big nations so often one reporter sent... Is actually ONE reporter. :) The camera was just starting to fall over and hes live and hes talking about the geopolitical conflict in Syria.
