The work you guys do, the effort you put in to everything you do is just awesome, and Chip I do love your style of doing things, if you not happy with the result, redo it until you are satisfied with it. I myself am a QA Analyst and one of my favorite sayings is "I have not failed 1000 times, I just found 1000 ways of how not to do it" 😉
I do love a Benz, and that one being a classic and not something one would see everything, I would go the custom route as well... nothing like a rare ride and custom at that too... Just priceless.. definitely looking forward to seeing the end product...
A suggestion: With your vision of making your channel and video's interactive and helping each other out, and with the great education info on the history of the cars featured... why not introduce some type of Quiz to the video's posted, and ask something that was mentioned in the video, and you select 1 or a few correct comments to win a customised Chicanos Customs T-Shirt or that mad looking hoody you had in this video... I think that would drive more comments, and more aunties, uncles, grandma's and all will be joining and sharing the knowledge...

1st off congratulations on the channel, it's proper legit, you guys should be proud of yourself. The work you gents do is out of this world, as a car guy I am truly inspired by the passion you guys have for the work you do.
I just want to share a quick story. So every day I drive along the M1 and I pass Chicano's day in and day out, and as a car guy I would always rubber neck as I passed because there would always have the most interesting cars parked outside in various states of disrepair. So one day as I was going to work I told myself I will end my day early so I can go have a look at what goes on at that mint green place with all those dope cars.
So I drove up to Chicano's excited AF at the prospect of seeing these cars. Nothing, and I do mean absolutely nothing, was to prepair me for what I saw when I got there. Never mind what I saw, what was even more impressive and humbling was the treatment I got. The gent who was working the front office told me about what it is they do, he told me about the history of the company and he offered to give me an in depth tour of the shop of which I gladly accepted. Guys, when I say everyone at Chicano's is 5 star, I literally mean everyone. I saw the workshop, the coffee shop, I think there was a barbershop even. After all of that we went for the grand finale which is where Chip keeps his wheels....i absolutely lost my shit. It could have easily rated as on of the top 5 spaces iv been to as a car guy. I was told about the cars and I was allowed to have a thorough look at every detail and any question I had was informative Lu answered.
The cherry on top was when I was introduced to the owner (whose name I immediately forgot) . A very chilled gent who came across to be a bit shy but non the less well informed about cars. So he took over the tour and we started discussing work that could possibly be done to my car. We had a look at fabrics, body colours. We discussed esthetics and the best approach to tackle a project such as the one I had in mind. And as this conversation progressed I realized that this MF really really knows about cars. Eventually when I was done geeking out I had to take my leave and as I was leaving it hit me that I should probably ask for this gents name given he was 5 stars. I awkwardly asked him to pardon my manners and I asked for his name again to which he responded, "Chip...all my friends call me Chip, you can call me Chip". As I drove home I swore to myself that one day I would love to, and will, work on a project with Chicano's.
Well done guys, you gents are the real deal.

On the 115 I would have went the whole 9 yards with the build (modified) . I mean we are used to seeing the classic OEM restoration on Mercs, so I would have definitely went chopped roof, 100 spoke daytona wheels, beluga black paint with red graphics in the finish. Proper low rider with the air install👌

My mate has told me we do have IS here and the 325e also but no 333i and evo2.
We do have e30 wagons here but no one selling them... i was wrong they also very rare here.

Yes that's correct however they varied significantly in terms of performance,suspension and mechanical bits.

As for the BENZ maybe the colour that u sprayed the E30 wagon with the old skwl AMG wheel or a Bentley wheel with a classic like this it needs the chicano flava.
Quick question before i leave do u only specialize in e30's or other cars as well reason for my ? is i am done building my Toyota Tazz as a remembrance of my old lady just needs the chicano touch as i love the way you and your chicanos do your work.

My 1st car was a Burgandy Bauer top 325i. It had the "recaro" seats in beige....it was perfect. Unfortunately circumstances lead to me having to sell it, I had no other options left to me. I have thought about that car and the memories at least twice a week from the day I sold it and I always wonder where it is.
Does anyone know how one can go about finding one's previous car. I would actually love to buy it back given that my fortunes have changed. Iv thought of going to the traffic department but I figured they would never give me that type of information cos irrespective of the story it just sounds dodgy.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
