@@babasheeny3634 I didn’t use a sealer. I just used thick coats of acrylic paint on clean, dry pumpkins. I put my finished pumpkins on a covered porch out of the rain, so maybe that helped. A sealer is a great idea if you’re having trouble with peeling.
I didn't use any primer or sealer. My pumpkins are on a covered porch so just the acrylic paint was enough, but if your pumpkins will be more exposed to the weather you will probably want to use outdoor paint and a sealer. 🎃

Did you need to apply any primer for your color to show so vibrantly??
I didn't use any primer, just a nice thick coat of acrylic paint. The Apple Barrel paint seemed to work really well. 🎃
