Worshipping Mary is idolatry. Jesus sais "I am the way, the truth and the life, the ONLY way to the Father is through the Son". Those who pray to the Father through Mary ... their prayers are falling on deaf ears. Catholics follow many rituals and rituals like sacrifices and circumcision ceased with Jesus Christ on the cross. He was the final sacrifice.

He didn’t say “on the contrary”. Mary heard the word of God & obeyed. We are not supposed to add to the text. Jesus may have called her “woman” to connect the woman spoken about to the serpent in the garden & the woman in revelation.
Exorcists report that though demons fear Christ, they hate Mary, because she conquered evil with humility. If an exorcism is nor proceeding as expected, the presence of Mary appears and the demons flee. One exorcist forced the demon to say, Hail Mary full of grace, and it fled out of its victim.
Another reason He distanced Himself from His family was to prevent the Romans from crucifying everyone associated with Him. The Romans would wipe out entire families, even their pets. But because Jesus had successfully distanced Himself from her and even from His disciples, both Mary and John could stand at the foot of the cross without fear.

Mary served her purpose bringing Jesus into the world, after that she had kids like any other married woman. Mary didn't die for me, Jesus did.

It is not Mary worship, but rather honoring her. Half of Jesus was the product of Mary. The part of Him that was mortal was of Mary.

I just saw a clip an hour ago where a priest said this very thing. Demons flee in Jesus' name only.
