I was born in 1966. At age 7 I asked to start dressing like a boy down to the under ware and I had my waist length hair cut into a boy's style. My mom supported my choices. Turns out I'm just a tomboy. Totally heterosexual, married 27 years lol. But I really liked having my opinions heard and having the support of my parents.

Ya same I’m a girl and I just enjoy wearing clothes made for guys because they are more comfortable and look better. I also enjoyed both playing with barbies and with things like toy cars. I’m heterosexual though and I’m glad my parents didn’t decide to change my gender when I was five.

Me too... I was happy when i could dress myself because I dressed boyish to be comfortable. Played rough games like boys did because I was just a tomboy. My parents never spoke to me like this is what boys do and this is what girls do or this isnt for girls or that isnt for boys.
They let me be.. And I'm heterosexual too with a son and husband.Clothes has nothing to do with being a certain gender.

Same here. At one point I was absolutely sure that I wanted to just be a boy. My parents never encouraged any of my choices but they would support me and listen to what I had to Express. Obviously as I grew older, it was evident that I was just a tomboy lol.

They are sharing her story to help give support and faith to other families who may or may not be in the same position, and to TEACH PEOPLE about what being transgender means, and is, from a young age, as this girl gets older.

People nowadays say that toys and clothes don't define gender, that a boy can play with dolls and wear skirts and that's fine, I agree with that, but they contradict themselves when the first moment the little boy plays or dress with something of "girl" they think it's a girl and start treating it like a girl
I thought that the objects didn't define the gender
I think the choice of gender should be in adolescence and not in childhood

In my area people follow all the gender stereotypes when they dress their children. If you ask if a child in a pink allover is a boy or a girl, the parents will judge you. But my mother never dressed me 100% girly, as well as she never dressed my brothers 100% boyish, like, you know, we could play with each other's toys, wear each other's clothes. And now when our separated parents married each other again, our father started spreading all these disgusting stereotypes and applying them on the youngest children in the family

I DON'T see how it could possibly be safe to put your child on the internet at such a young age. If when she is older and wants to tell her own story that's one thing, but to put your child on blast for ANYONE to make fun of, belittle, or receive down right cruel remarks doesn't seem like "protecting" your child. Children dont even know what a Gender is. A girl just knows that she looks different but nothing more. He probably doesnt even know what this process means. Parents now give children phones and let their kids watch tv shows( kids shows aren't like what they were, they have PC in them now to force a narrative). Children are very opened minded and the amount of social conditioning/engineering that has been done to promote this so-called inclusiveness is just a facade to actually create a state of confusion. When there is confusion there is division and the division is what is truth and what are lies. This has been going on for centuries. Now truth is being censored and ostracized. You say "no hate" and then immediately make statements that assume the parents don't know what they are doing or would hurt their child. While not hateful necessarily, they certainly are hurtful. It's also pretty presumptuous of you to make the statement that she will "definitely feel different" when she is older. You have no way of knowing that.
At this age, no child is taking hormones like estrogen or testosterone to produce gender changes. Why? Because they haven't reach puberty. Giving a child this young hormones their bodies will eventually produce if left alone would be inappropriate as well. As noted at about 4:44, at the very beginning of puberty, she may choose to take a puberty blocker. This will delay puberty without causing any permanent changes in her body. That will give her more time to make decisions about hormones. When her body is ready and she has worked with her physician, she may choose to take estrogen, but that is years away. Generally speaking, any surgeries, the most permanent of changes one can make, will wait until she is much, much older. Nothing that is being done now removes her ability to live as a girl, boy, fluid, or non-binary person later.
As for the inability to produce biological children goes, a) there are options that can be explored if that is important to her and b) none of us are promised fertility. There are so, so many people unable to produce biological children for a variety of reasons. Lots of them have children in other ways. Lack of fertility is not the same as not having children of your own. This only seems weird because a conscious decision may be made in the future, but even that decision is made by plenty of cis gender people every year. I know of at least three off hand who decided they did not want biological children and had surgeries to prevent just that.
Her parents are doing what is best for her being right now. They will continue to do so in the future, all while consulting with and following the advice of a physician skilled in these types of treatments. This child is healthy, happy, and most importantly, loved.

They automatically call you an online bully, hater etc. They will call you judgmental but if you put your whole life on the internet you are asking for it. There's a huge, fundamental difference between being transgender, and being 'gender non-conforming'. Being gender non-conforming means, for example, you are a girl who prefers 'boys' toys, 'boys' clothes, etc. You don't have interests that are seen as traditionally feminine or girly, but you are still a girl, you still know you are a girl in your heart and your mind. (This was me when I was a kid!)
Being transgender is VERY different. Being transgender, like the girl in the video, means you KNOW you are not the gender you were assigned at birth. You know that you are in a body which does not match up with what you feel in your mind and your heart.

Gender dysphoria is a clinical diagnosis where a person, child or adult, does not associate him/her self with their biological gender at birth. in some cases, the dysphoria is very deep-rooted and to press such a person into a mould which society envisages for that person is to make that person's life a misery and possibly suicidal. Hormone blockers can be used to delay puberty, but these may not be enough and surgical intervention may be necessary. Such decisions are not made lightly but are based on psychological, life-style and need, involving clinical professionals. The main drawback from clinical intervention is the subsequent inability of transitioned children to have their own children later on in life when they become adults. This factor might not be understood in younger children.

Surgical intervention is only carried out as a last resort after careful consultation amongst doctors and parents. The other two have no interest in girly things and I could get them anything they dreamed of and if it arrived pink they’d probably instantly hate it, but I guarantee they aren’t trans. One of my daughters has an oversized sweatshirt Billie Eilish clothing style but talks of wearing sneakers under her wedding dress that match her husbands. The reason trans suicide rates are still high among even the fully transitioned is due to their biological truth. You can never truly change your genetic makeup. So much for believing in science.

when I was a kid I always wanted to be a boy, I feel that it was influenced because I am the only girl in my family and I have two brothers. I even once went to the prize section in a certain competition and replaced the doll I won with a toy car. During my teenage years, I have questioned myself whether I'm a boy or a girl. It happened more often after I got to know about the LGBTQ people. Now as a grown-up I know I was just a tomboy. Usually, children grow out of their gender dysphoria in time by waiting and reasoning or with "help from a therapist or psychologist. I feel like transition affirmative therapies inflict lasting harm to the child by experimenting on the child.

For children her age, the only transition they do is using a different name and pronouns, buying new clothes, cutting/growing out hair, and possibly hormone blockers (which are 100% reversible). Not that they have to do all those things, of course. But if the kid realizes they are not trans, no permanent changes have been made and they can continue on their life as their assigned gender at birth. It just makes it so much easier to transition later on, if they decide to, when their transition has started before puberty. And it can save the trans individual from a lot of gender dysphoria.

Gender “nonconforming” at 3 years old? That’s the issue there. Just because a kid likes blue more than pink, or unicorns and dolls more than fire trucks and dump trucks doesn’t mean they’re “gender noncomforming”. Toys and colors don’t have a gender.

My son went through a phase of wanting to be ‘girly’ around 6 years old too.. but I told him ‘No.. because you’re a boy.’
As a single mom, I recognized he was mostly only exposed to female role-models (like mom, grandma, teachers, daycare workers, etc.) and I continued only buying him boy clothes and toys.
Surprisingly, he’s not currently growing up as gender-confused 10 year old. He appreciates being a boy, and expresses great interest in becoming a grown man some day. 🙂
However, I doubt that would be the case had I AND his dad (if he were around) ENCOURAGED those sassy behavioral whims by painting his room pink, & buying him skirts, barbies, & lip gloss.
People don’t accept biological males in female sports (logically) because of the unfair physical advantage.. and MOST people don’t want a relationship with a transgender person simply because IT ISN’T NATURAL.. so the future dating potential for transgender kids is either limited at best, if not founded on deceit.
Transgender kids shouldn’t be brought up under a false notion that they won’t face any serious obstacles throughout life as a result, or with a false sense that society is in ANYWAY obligated to continue expressing the same level of enthusiasm toward them as an adult, as their ‘parents’ have throughout their childhood.. because for the most part, they simply aren’t.
And that rude awakening & stark reality can often become overwhelmingly devastating for teens.. as the suicide rates unfortunately indicate.
And this isn’t ‘society’s’ fault either.. society is fulfilling their obligation with transgender employment, school acceptance, etc.. but you can NEVER criminalize someone for asserting the position ‘I respect that you’re transgender, but it just isn’t for me ..so I’d rather date someone else.’ or ‘I’d rather just hang out with this other person.’
THAT ALONE.. that personal rejection, which cannot be regulated.. is something any kid who’s being raised as transgender should be prepared for.. because like it or not.. that’s just the reality they will face. Acceptance on the surface, but often nothing more. 😥
    Prayers for this kid. 🙏🏼

Sure, the brain is not fully matured in her age but should she wait until her voice starts to become low (which cannot be changed afterwards) and grow the masculine parts? The earlier the better.
But I must say, it's important that a therapist is involved because being trans is still a medical subject and not just preference or so.

How is a 9 year old boy going to decide what gender he is when he doesn’t even know what job he wants to be when he’s older ? How about instead of children trying to change their gender, we focus on building our children up and teaching them life skills, instead of giving them the “ok” to mutilate themselves and make life altering decisions.
