Wouldn't mind having one in slightly lesser condition than this and making a police car out of it like the one on the TV series Highway Patrol. I would keep it original tho--no alternator or power brake conversions. Your drive-by scenes at 2:00-on even sounds like Dan Mathews (Broderick Crawford) driving it in a Highway Patrol scene!!
I had a 4 dr '54 Olds super 88 sedan. Yellow with a green top. That was my first car. I miss that thing. That low first gear in that Hydramatic got that car off the line rather quickly.
NICE,CAR MY DAD&GRANDAD HAD COLLECTION OF OLDS 1952-1957 HDTPS OR SEDANS EXPECT 54,IN MAINE BODIES ROTTED OUT,GRANDMA DIED IN 1969,GAVE AWAY EXCEPT 1952 SEDAM,STILL HAVE,BEEN IN FAMILY,SINCE OCTOBER OF 1956

I thought they drove Buicks in "Highway Patrol."
@@mkofftiger yes but they alternated between other makes. Oldsmobiles were used only in 1955 and 1956.

I just saw an identical one for sale, there’s a video of it on UA-cam. Maybe the same car?
Look up Douglas Breaver 1954 Olds Super 88 $6,000 and it should be there. I apologize for being unable to send you a link
