I stayed in three Japanese cities, Tokyo, Sendai and Kawasaki. I personally enjoyed Sendai and the surrounding areas the most. Although there are a lot fewer people who know English as it is up north. Matsushima Bay, just a little north of Sendai is a beautiful place to explore.
