Josh's Italian singing is perfect as is his gorgeous voice. Yep, I am a fan. I like Renee Fleming's voice. And Joshua Bell is great as always.

I think when they performed for the Brigadoon it sounded Okè,but this wasn,t easy for Josh to do i think!
Both have beautifull voices but when Josh sings those songs alone it sounds just GREAT!

One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Josh Groban's voice is from Heaven. Renee Fleming should stick to opera. Her voice is not meant for songs like "Se".

Never liked Fleming's renditions, except for two of her performances: Violetta in La Traviata @Met and @Obama's Inaugural when she sang You'll Never Walk Alone.
This performance shows exactly what I mean.
Groban is spot on, it is his area.
Love how Ms. Fleming is trying to get Josh to look at her, as is proper duet practice, but he just won't.

Ugh, I love Josh Groban and I love this song. Or at least I did. She just ruins it for me. I was excited for this special. I have it set to record. I really hope he does other songs on his own or with anyone else. I enjoy Joshua Bell also.i can't stand to listen to her gargle her words. Sorry, just my opinion.

what's absolutely awful is the arrangement, aka the second voice they composed for her to sing, they could have written a better musical line closer in harmony to the original melody so that it blends better, they are both good singers

Not a good blend. Josh Groban's Italian diction is excellent, very close to contemporary Italian. Renee is awesome but she's trying to sing it like it's Verdi, with emphasis placed on notes and range, not words. Had she approached it like her Gershwin and Porter songs, the results might have been better. So it sounds more like a mash-up than a duet. Joshua Bell is Joshua Bell, perfect as always.

Both are incorrect. Many vowels are wrongly sung open when they are closed. Very strange because an Opera singer should know the diction

Their voices don't blend at all. They sound awful together. I agree, they shouldn't sing together. I'm a fan of his but this pairing is just bad.
