such a shame not a lot of people liked it when it originally came out. I bought it on launch ;) still got the vinyl. Definitely one of the tunes that was ahead of time
The internet doesn't allow monoculture and the gestation of deep scenes like this. Now it's consumed much faster and there is no time for something like this to evolve. IMO!
you are defintly rite sir internet has its positive and negative too many people are to blind to know how to use such a powerful thing its more of a poison to majority then anything
Obscure? Seriously? Konflict(Kemal/Rob Data) were extremely popular names in the scene. I think the first time I actually became interested in their stuff was when I heard The Messiah on From here to there... They were regular guests on a Shoutcast stream I used to listen to..
This one is an echo of what we used to consider edgey drum and bass and breaks. You don't know what you're gettin straight off but it's only one song.. Can.. the DJ mix it. hahahhaha
I can’t believe this was almost 20 years ago. Few tunes have stood the test of time like this one. Kemal and Rob Data were a force to be reckoned with. They changed the face of DnB. They changed my life.
So glad I grew up through this era. I remember recording the latest tunes on pirate radio every weekend. Then searching high & low for their release then finally hearing them shake down the walls in London. Still have all the DAT tapes in the loft 😁
Wow this tune is just epic, can't believe I had forgotten about this tune after all these years! Remember hearing Ed Rush & Optical playing this back in the day, such an anthem! Wow I miss those times...
yeep, agree with everybody, all-time tune makes me remember the 2000-2007 period but all of you know that it hurts our hearths: time past and the current dnb is far from the real, pure dnb.... :( i want this song rolling in my head when my last breath leaves my body!!
For this era of righteous DnB try. Bad Company, Pendulum, Stakka n Skynet. Black sun empire, evol intent, gein etc I could go on. Hit me up ogcaz@me.com
Ed Rush & Optical, Krust (Bad Intentions), Fierce, Virus Recordings, RAM Trilogy, Roni Size, Cause 4 concern, Dillinja, Matrix, Dj Reality, Dj Trace, Dj Sphere, Dj Loxy, Absolute Zero & Subphonics, Source Direct, Teebee, Andy C, Dom&Roland, Paranoid, Total Sience, Karl K, Usual Suspects, Renegade, Konflict, Future Cut, Technical Itch (check out his Killa Bites 2 mix (disc 1 + 2) = one of greatest selection you will find on youtube)
Holy sweet mother of god this is a tune and a half
Who is back in here 10 years later? :D
Really missing those tunes!
