The ICC would receive a lot more credence, if they prosecuted returning ISIS-members (those who originally came from European countries) in the Hague. For another, European national jurisdictions wouldn't have to deal with semi-stateless individuals, who have on the one hand relinquished their citizenship (making them someone else's problem), but due to the commitment to denying statehood to terrorists cannot be regarded as foreigners (international conventions rule out statelessness as an option). As I see it, the aftermath of ISIS is an international issue that's practically tailored to the cmptenecies of the ICC, if only because prosecuting an international gang of separatists is such a thankless job for any one nation to take on.

No Justice for africans in this world
India knows one icc that is International cricket council.
What is that crazy music telling us?
Who needs music in the background?
Because it’s criminally negligent & incompetent.

This is attrition and interfering with the sovereignty of the local justice systems
Mark Anthony Demaguil
It is not an interference of sovereignty when a state has consented to the courts jurisdiction, which many states have done so. In such case they are justified in being involved in local justice systems as the state has consented
@@seth3638 ICC can interfere if and only the local justice systems are not working.. And also in the case of the USA.. whom they are not a signatory of the Rome Statute but still insisting the USA to go to trail against the alleged atrocities they made in Afghanistan
Mark Anthony Demaguil
Afghanistan is a party to the Rome Statute and thus the ICC. Since the US has committed human rights violations in their territory, the ICC has jurisdiction to investigate.
USA is not a member of the ICC. Due to their sovereignty they are free to obstruct and resist the investigation against them. They are already doing this as seen by revoking the visa of the ICC investigator.
Such conduct my the USA confirms the wider world’s suspicions that the USA have violated HR and are seeking to escape accountability
BECAUSE THEY DONT RECOGNISE ANY OF THE CRIMES FOR WHICH THEY WERE ESTABLISHED TO PUT ON TRIAL!
THEY ARE REDUNDANT!
"The Rome Statute established four core international crimes:
genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression. Those crimes "shall not be subject to any statute of limitations".
Under the Rome Statute, the ICC can only investigate and prosecute the four core international crimes in situations where states are "unable" or "unwilling" to do so themselves"
what an interesting time
ICC: Why does the United States disapprove of the ICC?
Jim Crow leaves the chatroom.
Take what you got.....and leave.
THIS IS PROPAGANDA OF THE WORST KIND...

So many of Duterte's propagandists are here. 😂
😂😂😂 come on ICC, i thought brilliance circulates in your blood stream but the way you deal with issues recently especially the Philippines I see no logic. What i see is no brilliance but prideful or rather self righteous comments as if you see yourselves as the highest of the highest a supreme decision maker for all crimes somehow you see yourselves as the redeemer. Fortunately, people see beyond whats appearing on television.
Why don't arrested Kim jong un
Propaganda, plain and simple!
Iam talking english
What about radowan karadic or slobdan milosovich? Both were tried for war crimes in the icc?
What about Bush? What about tony blair?
@@MohamadZariffiAzmi that's my entire point...
Shame BBC u showed wrong map Indias part of kashmir in China 👎
The boss of icc is British and thatnsays all.he is waiting for the us to tell him what to do as usual?i think so.uk is the little dog of the us.we all know that.😅
The real power of the ICC is its ability to bring shameful crimes against humanity screaming out of the darkness and into the light, and it has tried several people in absentia. I applaud their decision to investigate the possibility of my country being party to such crimes. To bear such scrutiny willingly is the duty of any true patriot of America, or really any decent member of democracy worldwide. Humans, we are in this together!
ICC is the defender of criminals, they hide under the disguise of human rights.
