Great for mooer. It still amazes me how the vintage gear gatekeepers always reject real solutions to performance. We always push these products as practice tools, but they are more than ready for the big show, I love musicians that carry their own gear, What better way to get places and play. I aspire to be a street busker and I love ways to make not just usable tones but delicious tones very practical. Thanks for the vid. Have you checked out bird cords from songbird FX? easiest most affordable and most quiet way to power DC powered gear using any usb battery bank. I use them for my Roland street cube ex, mooer ge250, and my thr10. Never worry about noisy power supplies or wall plugs again.
For busking, I would not take ANY piece of gear that I would hate losing. I haven't busked myself, but I have friends who have and they have variously been robbed and stabbed whilst busking. I'm sure it's not a regular thing as I also know friends who have done it with no problems whatsoever, but the likelihood is certainly higher than at a regular gig. And FWIW I like this product, though at the same time I don't really have a good spot for it in my studio. I could see this being very cool for live performance where you know you have decent FOH. Just bring the guitar and the footswitch, DI the guitar out and you're done with load in/setup! Unfortunately, my regular spots don't have great monitoring situations.
Oh man I had a Rockman back in the day, so dam cool.you can tell Mooer really thought this one through, roast maple,2 point trem....ect, wow have times changed.
This was a great video and informative. This would be the next thing I would like to have for Christmas. I like the fact that they have a BT Pedal for this. Although it's really hard to buy this stuffs, always Sold out. I wonder if the company also thought of of having a Black variant for the guitar.
Amazing bundle of useful features in one: guitar/amps/modeler/drum machine/looper, etc. You also got some good tones directly out of the unit. If I was in the market to purchase the suite of gear necessary to play electric guitar, this is what I'd get.
You are really a down to earth guy. I love your explanations on these videos. You made me buy the joyo zombie and the firebrand. And cant say im dissapointed, awesome little amps. Thanks for these videos man keeo them coming!👌🤘
Thank you for this video. I think I would like one of these. I have a Variax smart guitar which does many of these things too. But the Variax also has a knob that allows you to change tuning, like, half-step down, full step down, drop d, or dadgad. Without having to retune the guitar. Can you tell me if GTRS has this option? My biggest problem with the Variax is it's weight at 7.7lbs.
I have the tone capture pedal, it is really just EQ, but it does make the guitar sound completely different. I can see how and onboard version would be useful.
These Chinese companies are really doing some really cool stuff, I jumped in headfirst and got a NUX MG300 just to see what the fuss was about, honestly it slays my Pod X3 as far as "feeling" more amp like, but I digress, a guitar that has all those features built in is quite something to see out of China, very cool.
I look at my guitar rig as a system: guitar - effects - amp or if I go direct: guitar - modeler. Just like the Firebird X, the Boss Eurus, and similar; I don't want effects in my guitar. I have guitars I like, I have effects I like, I have modelers I like, I have amps I like. Each of these components does what I want, as part of my complete system. One innovation I like is the pickup system in the new Ibanez Q series with 9-10 pickup selector settings. This is a great innovation for electric guitars, and it makes sense; and adds more tonal variety in a way that's just an improvement to how pickup selectors work. IMO
Similar (with less options, of course) to a 300 and a Spider --all combined in one instrument. Not a laughing matter... that's exactly what I've got at home 🎸🎸🎸
Now finally perfect gigging guitar. Hawling a big ass rig for a free beer was getting a bit tiring. Hope they dont stop giving us a free beer after we stop bringing our big ass 2.5 k worth rig into a $25 gig. #Livin da lyf
It's cool but is it $600 worth of cool? Maybe? The Metallic Red looks the best and the discount code covers the tax plus an additional $25 off...I'm on the fence about it.
I have so many questions. Can you change the neck fpr a baritone conversion? Can you swap the pups without losing all the features? Would it be possible to remove the dsp hardware and place it in, for example, a bass?
Bluetooth sounds like a real bad idea if you are thinking about ysing it live though. (Yes I know the purposevis to study or whataver but..looks like a big investment to play by yourself in your room) Also you didn't do a lot of clean demos so not buying it..
i read some comments on amazon and many bad comments....some say this is a chinese variax and it is only a practicing guitar and knobs and mechanics feel really cheap....so what now to think
IMO , the more bells and whistles, the more possibilities to be distracted fiddling with knobs and parameters which can steal time for real practice. I've been playing bass for 30 years and I have a good amount of gear and pedals...but when it's time to learn a song or get focused in practice, i just plug my bass straight to the amp
The concept I like. But, the execution is lacking imho. The guitar matching stuff, frankly is not even meh level. It's rather crappy actually. I play Variax guitars, and THOSE come really close to the guitar types they imulate. Leagues above this. So, in useable reality, it's a guitar with a built-in multi fx pedal onboard.
Another disposable product ... the battery will die within 3-4 years like all lithium batteries, no way around it and a phone app ... how fast will it be abandoned by the devs and will it be updates to keep up with phones OS updates/upgrades ... probably not. Hard pass.
Bridges that don’t go out of tune, everyone using the same plugins and now this. Why not just midi everything and remove the last human element? Hope this doesn’t catch on.
Its ugly, they should have made a better job at looks. Doesnt look a future guitar. Its like fitting a V12 engine on a Cressida. Its an awesome concept, would have looked better on a headless guitar with fenned frets.

Well done vid !! That type of device/setup is the wave of the future!
Great video. It's crazy how far we come with technology, especially for us musicians. Flying cars? Nope, give us flying guitars next! 🤘🏻
Thanks dude! You never know, maybe it will be guitars you play with your mind…
Flying V?
Oh man I had a Rockman back in the day, so dam cool.you can tell Mooer really thought this one through, roast maple,2 point trem....ect, wow have times changed.
They definitely did put something nice together
Straight to the throat freaking awesome
Wow! Pretty incredible
wow this is just amazing. i can't wait to see more stuff like that coming out. have a good-one dude!

Is it possible to gut this and put the electronics in a different guitar? I think maybe even selling them as like a pre wired pickguard would be sick
A better product would be like a super tiny HX Stomp, where you can control the tone with your phone or a dedicated footswitch
That is one hell of a instrument! Go Mooer, very cool to see the direction they're taking. Just wish my GE200 worked when I bought it :P
For sure some cool tech! They also nailed the look, kept it ultra classy with the cream/off white and roasted maple.
It's a bit like an _all-in-one_ golf club. No need for a caddy anymore. How wonderful is *THAT!!*
You are really a down to earth guy. I love your explanations on these videos. You made me buy the joyo zombie and the firebrand. And cant say im dissapointed, awesome little amps. Thanks for these videos man keeo them coming!👌🤘
This is probably the Ultimate practice tool.

I was looking in the GTRS guitars page hoping to find some metal looking guitars to fit that tone but sadly my hopes and dreams were crushed...
Nope just one style, but maybe one day they’ll sell the module/pickups separately 🤷♂️
Be original or spray it flat black like the masses of metal zombies all in search of flat black brains to eat.
Line 6 should have stuck with this idea 10 years ago. I think Mooer just took that idea and adapted it to modern technology.
So I could plug it in a pa system and gig right ?

Mooer is British, we were sponsored by them. For sure British

I haven't been dropped on my head in a while. But I cannot see the link for the discount you mentioned.
My bad, video was not supposed to be live until 6 hours from now 🤦 I updated the description
I wonder how this compares to the Variax guitars.
This is badass, but what song is that at the beginning
Where's the audio output? From the phone or PC/laptop? No need any audio interface?

Make your own video then? Be about it don't comment about it
@@davecowoin64 You first. Where's your videos?
Can you play along with a Bluetooth source via the headphones?
Is a wonderful guitar, i like the metal red colour... 🤘
Is there a dropout/lag when switching between patches? Or is it seamless like on a real amp?
Why you didn't just leave the mix song til the end? I got massive disappointed when suddenly it stops to the talking stuff
How does this stand up next to the variax in your opinion?

It slices, it dices, but does it make Julienne Fries?
Haven’t tried that yet 🧐
That's kinda like those Peavy guitars....built in drum mechine for practicing is awsome..sounds are good too..✌
Les Paul did this in the beginning a bit wonkier w no processing power but similar idea. I like Mooer products this is cool.
OK boomer
@@joaofernandes6938 Im genX i can fix blinking boomer VCR clocks and lose my shirt in bitcoin and NFTs w the best of them...
Great demo! Cool concept, horrendous looking guitar. And what's with that awful Corel Draw logo made by the company's receptionist? lol
What the f**k is this!? So so so badass!!!!!
I wish you would have played walk this way with the drum machine, but a metal version, that woulda had me rotflmao!
🤘
Now this is something that shouts " I will be useless in 10 years" .

Butter chicken mmmm curry
I had that dod it sucks
The only thing that I could see this needing is a Bluetooth wah pedal
I have so many questions. Can you change the neck fpr a baritone conversion? Can you swap the pups without losing all the features? Would it be possible to remove the dsp hardware and place it in, for example, a bass?
So this is what happens after someone installs a metal zone into a guitar
the les paul and strat sound the same.
needs a commonly replaceable battery instead of the proprietary unit. until then, nope.
