Funny story about him and I …I grew up in Harlem 4 blocks away from the Rucker (151st) I went there every morning in the summer to put some shots up …I usually stay into they start setting up for the tournament. So my boy Rell said “Yo Nate if anyone asked what you doing here tell them you here with Gus” Me “ok bet!” As I’m on the bleachers Bald head guy cool pair of specs walk up and say “Hey lil man what you doing here?” Me “I’m here with Gus” He go “Oh yeah you here with Gus” I knew I fucked up when the lady said “Gus let him live” the whole security team started laughing 😂 not knowing I was speaking to Gus the whole time 😂 that’s my introduction to Gus 😂 thank you for not kicking me out the park that day 👍🏾😂
