Eventually worked out how to do this last night after a frustrating couple of hours. Wish I'd waited till after you put this clip up! Your instructional videos really are top notch!
I could have done with this info when I updated mine. I looked everywhere. Ended up on chat session with Hyundai and they guided me though where to change it. Fair play on Hyundai and instant chat no waiting and with info to hand.
The tip on searching is very good. It works quite well for other hard to find things like phone Projection settings to set it to use the full screen. You just need to figure out the correct term.
I had the same problem and managed to change it through the driver profile settings in the app. I'm not sure if the change will remain profile specific as I only have one profile enabled at present.
I think I've read that if it changes from miles to km after a software update on the 28kWh version, disconnecting the 12V battery for 15 mins sorts it.
@@Nikoo033 That would be for the satnav only though. I don't expect this changes miles/kWh into Wh/km which is both more logical and also more granular
@@GoGreenAutos you know there is an indicator when one steps on the gas...the rpm goes up to 2000rpm...3000rpm etc...is there any indicator to show...?
You are the only source I have found for solving this km to miles problem. I have been searching for months.!!!
Glad the video helped.
There's Ioniq Facebook groups too which can help with any questions.

I've not bothered with the app (yet) as I suspect it is the cause of the 12V battery draining issues on the Ioniq.
@@GoGreenAutos So far no battery drainage issues but will keep an eye on this issue!
Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately I don't believe the option to switch exists on the 28kWh version?

Found it. It is in the settings of the “Navigation” tool. 👍🏻

@@evdabbler it’s not just sat nav. It changes for the main odometer/dashboard too. But yes, no Wh/km.
how to check rpm...?
rpm of what?
