The Wyatt Sicks reminds me of Kizarny. Kizarny had a lot of buildup with promotional vignettes. His gimmick was that he was a scary carny who spoke in pig Latin. Kizarny had one singles match on the main roster on Smackdown against MVP, which he won. And then another match at a battle royale, which he was quickly eliminated. Then he was released soon after.

The peak of Sullivan was when his group was just a bunch of guys who were into worshipping an entiry named Nabudadeen, not when the Dungeon of Doom was a thing, Father James Mitchell made it work in ECW because his character is a con-man who masquerade as a Satan sorcerer and got weak people into joining him, the Raven's Nest was Reven preying on wkeaned people to make them his goons. CONTRA was Joseph Samael loving violence and creating a group of "agents of chaos". The most "magic" thing was the fireball wich is a staple of evil in wrestling. Once your guys start teleporting, having magic powers and such, it decreases the interest of a wrestling show because now they can comeback and no-sell whenever they want. This is why Undertaker never truely drew aside from '99. And even there, despite a few tricks, he was mostly using things other people could do (fireballs, hanging people, burning things, those are not superpowers), he was just incredibly mental in the way he wanted to get what he wanted and became the most blasphemous mainstream wrestler. Plus, he was against Austin who was one of the if not the biggest star in wrestling history. You can do weird and outlandish characters, but they have to work within what you know can be believed in wrestling, go too far and you sell it as goofy wich makes it looses its appeal.
