Man he rocked the vocals!! I love how when many singers tone it down when they do acoustic, singers like Brent Smith (Shinedown) and Adam Gontier still put everything they have into it. Great!!
this guy is a true talent ! not only can he jam in your face acoustic but he messes up at the very end and still has the presence and raw improv talent to make most people not notice ...GREAT PERFORMANCE

Not related to this video, I actually saw it like in 2009… But just want to say that the “Animal I Have Become” intro riff is one of the best I’ve listened in Rock Music. The Bass riff combines with the distorted guitar after, pure sound heaven!
Love these guys,saw them at Uproar in Cleveland and they definately rocked the stage,And Adam can REALLY sing unlike some that dont sound as good live,they are true musicians.

Adam is TDG, "bands" need to realise that the lead singer is the face of the band and without him the band is nothing. The remaining members although carrying on the name can not replicate a) Adams vocals b) his lyric writing and c) his style.
I said it before and i'll say it again, Matt is pretty good for what he does but 3DG without Adam's voice is something we'll don't want to hear. Again, I'm not against matt by any means, it just that they should've change the band name after Adam left to avoid the stigma that their new frontman will face. Their vocal range is not remotely close and their style of singing is completely different. Adam without 3dg is not 3dg. 3dg without adam is not 3dg. They could've put the band name's legacy to rest. Imagine if they did it, matt will be appreciated more by its new set of fans and maybe some solid 3dg fan like myself.

I also don't think Matt is bad, but keeping the name of the band after having Matt in it, feels like Matt is just a replacement of Adam that will not be able to replace him, if that makes sense
Guys, stop living in the past, if you people want to hear adam go to saint asonia, matt is doing good for me and I like the new 3dg. Obviously it was better with adam, but he leaved and you guys can't do a shit, I respect adam lot, he sings some 3dg songs that he wrote, that fact means that adam love his fans and he understands that they want to see him singing that songs, he is a nice guy, btw we all have to accept his desicion and the new way that he took. Saint asonia is great for me, 3dg with matt is also great for me, 3dg is evolving and is doing a nice work. Stop saying the "oh 3dg without adam is not 3dg" bullshit, I'm a fan of adam and 3dg, but I don't' stuck in the past and I accept adam's decision.
@kamri39 the nice thing about 3dg guitar is that it's pretty simple and still sounds great. i started out playing guitar and was able to at least learn rhythm guitar for these guys. good luck :)

Usually I'd agree, but I just saw 3DG live a few days ago and honestly, after a few songs, you hardly remembered they had a new singer.
