Rotterdam is a major port city in the Dutch province of South Holland. The Maritime Museum's vintage ships and exhibits trace the city's seafaring history. The 17th-century Delfshaven neighborhood is home to canalside shopping and Pilgrim Fathers Church, where pilgrims worshiped before sailing to America. After being almost completely reconstructed following WWII, the city is now known for bold, modern architecture.

Rotterdam has a distinct city vibe while Amsterdam is more of a town. Amsterdam has centuries-old architecture, coffee-shops and liberal attitude to life and Rotterdam has striking modern architecture, world-class dining and a very cool, laid back feel. While Amsterdam has a big port, Rotterdam's port is huge!

Euromast Rotterdam
The Euromast is an observation tower in Rotterdam designed by the Dutch architect Huig Maaskant and built from 1958 to 1960 . It was built for the 1960 Floriade. Originally, the Euromast was only 101 meters high. Around 5,800 tons of concrete were used in the 30-centimeter-thick walls.
In 1970, the Euromast was extended to its current total height of 185 meters by adding a mast (so-called "Space Tower"). A rotating gondola, which is glazed all around (“Euroscoop”), winds its way up this mast. In clear weather, visibility is up to 30 kilometers. The Euromast is the tallest building in the Netherlands after De Zalmhaven.
At a height of about 100 meters, there is a steel construction, the so-called " crow's nest ". The panorama restaurant can be visited there, and since 2004 two hotel suites have also been available for overnight stays at this altitude.
The Euromast is a popular tourist attraction in Rotterdam, which now offers spectacular activities such as abseiling down the tower or sliding down from a height of 100 meters at speeds of up to 100 km/h. Since 2012, at the end of each quarter, there has been a stair race over 589 steps up to the crow's nest at a height of 100 m.

Set in a boat on the water, you and your team go down to the boat’s hold. Seek cover behind oil barrels from fire through the portholes while surrounded by sonar and water sounds. The unique arena of Lasergame Rotterdam guarantees you an exciting underwater experience in the 300 m2 big arena.
