I like to think the pink shirt guy is an assassin, and the black shirt guy is the real version, and as black shirt slowly unravels the newfound situation in front of him to identify whether or not whom he's dealing with is what he thinks, the assassin finishes the job. I justify this by the emphasis on "the job", and how the sequence of events plays out from there. We see the switcharoo technique used on the banana, so that when the gun switcharoo occurs, it isn’t jarring and makes sense. Also, the way the camera functions is admirable. We see techniques used to make it seem like they are having a conversation, even though one actor was used.
This was a class project so I'm going to use it in one of mine as an example of postmodernism. There's a fine line between reality and abstract art. This blurs it perfectly. We will never know the end and reality constantly changes the narrative. Thank you wise wizard of postmodernism.
