I wish he had trimmed on details about how some individuals went about gaining power (especially the obvious nonsense myths about them, such as how a queen dreamed of a big fish and got pregnant of a hero etc) and therefore be able to spend some time on other aspects of history which are equally important and interesting if not more
the most important theme of this period of history(the transition of West Jin Dynasty and East Jin Dynasty, 315 DC-317DC)is separation and war, when Xiongnu rose abruptly, but Not the culture or ideology😅
