Just curious what kind of wood you are using as it looks heavy. :) The biggest concern in freeflight model making is weight management and choosing the right wood for the right job. We actually calculate the density and use specific grain types as well. Good luck!

@shmaknapublar I am just using pine to learn how to build them. Next one will be balsa off the BOM.
