In Japan, Uniqlo is high tier because it is affordable for most commoners who live in Japan. $100 jacket for the winter will last you for 10 years. While Canada Goose is mostly for westerners and Japanese people will never spend that much money on a jacket.
I live in Japan. A lot of people do spend absurd money on expensive clothes here, even Canada Goose back when it was trendy. Now a days you don't see a lot of Canada Goose because of the warmer climate in recent years; it rarely gets below freezing in Tokyo. Even the Uniqlo down jacket makes me sweat if I walk inside a store.
the weight of Canada Goose is 50% more than the uniqlo (400g difference!), just 2 points warmer and 10 times the cost I think weight-to-warm ratio should be prioritized, and in this regard, Uniqlo one is simply superior
Can you please test the Aritzia Super Puff? They have really some good numbers: 700 fill power, 90 GOOSE down and a price below 300CAD. Really want to see how it actually performs!
I feel like Uniqlo can be hit or miss. My whole wardrobe is Uniqlo, but I have many pieces that just don’t look good anymore. Pieces that attract too much lint, fabric is papery/stiff, etc. However, a majority of pieces are amazing.
The Ultra Light Down jackets are not durable but should get you through the winter. You get what you pay for in this case. My last one started leaking feathers after a few wears.
I'd love for you to put Canada Goose against a coat with real goose down. By Triple FAT GOOSE! I used to wear them as a kid, I recently found out they still make them but I don't know how good they'll stack up against the coats you review here.
I was going to buy the Uniqlo parka but I went with the puff tech one instead due to me living in Southern California it doesn’t get that cold here to justify that puffer
Sorry, this was a stupid comparison. Is there anybody who would consider a product that is 10x the price of an alternative (or conversely an alternative choice that is 1/10 the price)? Is there any surprise that one jacket that is 10x more expensive is better?
I live in NYC so I don't see the point of a heavy duty coat. I told myself yrs ago I'll never wear a CG coat because of the hype in 2010 but then the Moncler took over and CG came back, now North Face is back again?😂 Anyway, i like Uniqlo for its minimal design sans logo but I think everyone knows its Uniqlo by now. 😂
I like Orolay because it has more pockets and I also found it to be warmer. Check out my detailed review on Orolay here: ua-cam.com/video/c-btd2ym-gw/v-deo.html
I love Moose Knuckles. I have their Onyx down jacket and its so warm and looks amazing. I haven't heard of Artic Army before but ill check them out for sure
@ I love moose knuckles too. My favourite brand. I have the stirling parka and ballistic bomber. I also have a Nobis bomber that Ive recently done a review on but havnt uploaded it yet. I have two videos on my channel talking about Arctic Army parka and puffer!
Are you a fan of Uniqlo's down jacket? 😮

better than Zara

Do I want to drive a Lambo? Sure, but I’m also happily content with a Honda.
I've had the seamless down jacket the longer version for like... 8 years.
How tall are you
On the final comparison shot, you look about 10x happier in uniqlo, so i think uniqlo wins! lol
cant argue with that lmao
Looks warmer based on the face expression in the Uniqlo too 😂
Do you think the Uniqlo Ultra Warm Hybrid Down Coat is warmer than the parka?
Excellent. Thank you for sharing.😀😀😀😀😀

They’re not the same as when we were kids. I bought one and it barely lasted one season. Probably not goose down in it anymore.
Is the Macmillan your favourite Canada goose?
I was going to buy the Uniqlo parka but I went with the puff tech one instead due to me living in Southern California it doesn’t get that cold here to justify that puffer
You really dont need anything with down in southern california lol. If anything you should look at maybe a down vest at most.
@@Plague_Doc22I’ll get one for just fashion lol
Zara has a puffer jacket but with polyester filling instead of down so its less warm but looks like a down jacket
@@Mrspintz Get a puffer instead. Down is gonna be too warm. Uniqlo does a few great puffertech ones.
@@MensFashionFiles just saw the Zara one it’s nice I’m going buy it thank you
Can you please future Kanuk jackets..
It’s a Canadian brand based in Montreal and make some of the warmest jackets though kind of on a pricey budget

Why not review the Ultra warm hybrid down jacket instead of the seamless? It's only $40 more and more like the Canada Goose in the review.

Now…Uniqlo or Orolay? Same price point for both.

Id much rather my moose knuckles and arctic army jackets over these two.

You paid $1000 for the patch😂😂
Uniqlo seamless has bad reputation.
The seam is bonded by heat and many owners reported the seam comes off eventually, like after 2, 3 years of use.
Başarılar diliyorum🙏 bende beklerim😊
Uniqlo makes their down jacket not as warm to make you buy their heattech to layer underneath
Eddie Bauer is better
How tall are you
