Great shots, are you still using Helios 44-2? Do you like it? Did you use camera digital IS for filming this video?

Thank you, I used to use it very often untill I bought Canon 50 mm 1.8 (the video about it will be on the chanel as well), but it's still a very good lens, and I'm still using it to take portraits. On this video I didn't use a IS i guess, that time I didn't know how to turn it on 😅

@@krystian_kokot I do have a 1.8 lens also, it's better than Helios?... I mean it has auto focus, but Helios lenses probably are better than the Canon 1.8 50mm?....

​@@Oleksandrovych Now I mostly use Canon 1.8 because of its speed. AF is great fot my workflow, that speed is addictive. But of course bokeh in Helios is unique and beautiful. They both are great, but in my opinion, they are handy for diferent situation. If you have got a lot of time for manualy focus and you want to get that gorgeous, old looking style photos - then helios is better and also the process of taking photo is more satysfaing itself. But if you have to do something quickly (e.g. you've got only 15 min to sunset) then AF is a game changer. I'm very glad I've got both of them, it's perfect setup for my portraits.
Another think is an image quality, and it mostly depend on specific lens, which you buy. Not every lenses are the same. Machines in that times weren't that precise so it's some kind of lottery. If you've got luck, your lens will work very well, but some of them will have some disadvantages. But this is all of the old lens'es magic. They aren't perfect, and so there are very unique.

Mój zestaw to Canon ef-m to ef oraz pierścień ef to m42, ale istnieje również bezpośredni adapter ef-m to m42. 😁
