- www.wgu.edu - With countless of examples of great teachers in her young life, Lisamarie Bermudez of Baltimore, Maryland, knew she wanted to be a teacher herself from the beginning. When she and her family moved to the States from Puerto Rico, with English as a second language and a love of learning instilled in her by her parents, Lisamarie never lost sight of that hope, even when she couldn't afford college out of high school and got by working as a substitute teacher and, then, a teacher's assistant. She continued to dream of having her own classroom one day, and WGU removed the barriers that stood in the way of her making her dream-finally-into a reality.
Congratulations that’s beautiful you inspire me

hi miss bermudez
hey ms bermudez 😏
Hey buddy...how did you find this?
This video is good; however, Lisamarie mentioned that she needed to find a school where she could continue working. WGU personnel state that in order to obtain a teacher's license one must complete "demonstration teaching" by which students ARE NOT allowed to work. I like WGU, but that is a clear cut contradiction.
