I suggest one of my theory of the first detail - Death note was fallen upside down and when light picked it up in between the two senerio an other person has also picked up the death note and he thought that it must be a prank so he left it 😊

there is one major plot hole in death should be covered :- it is in starting related to death notebook as you know the shinigami who own the death note if any human touches the death note then the shinagimi who own the death note will only be seen to the person right?? but in first episode the death which was dropped the ryuk was not own by ryuk ... then how light yagami can see the ryuk, ryuk does not uses his own death note in whole series but at the end while writing the name of light he used.... this is a major plot hole the shinigami who owns must be seen but why ryuk was seen by light... think and tell me if i am wrong..actually i am new to anime sorry..if any mistake...😅
