Fabulous. The old place looks fantastic. You should let the tourist people know about this, let them use it to promote the city. It's a very attractive city these days. The river front is looking its best ever and I think the addition of the couple of modernist buildings really helps. There was huge uproar when the new museum was built, people saying it was too modern and out of character. It's wonderful and compliments the front. Great video ... thanks
Hi Andy, Absolutely brilliant, I'm blown away and haven't even got to the drone footage yet. Great meeting you and chatting to you on the prom tonight. Thanks for all the tips. Keep up the good work. Regards Colin
Andy, as a photographer myself who has tried very basic timelapse vids, your work is amazing. You're very talented. Thanks for sharing. Just one thing and it feels almost petty to mention it, but your spelling of "Photography" in your video is incorrect. PS, I had to edit my post. I wrote "you" instead of "your" LOL!
+Dave Wood. Hi and thanks very much for the comments. Yeah, spotted that well after I had posted it, more of a typo issue than spelling. When editing, the preview screen is very small at the side of the story board clips etc so its not that easy to spot. You are more concerned with timings and spacing and making sure the credits come together on a beat and then spread apart and fade on a beat than what they actually say. By the time I had spotted it, too many people had already linked my video and it would be a problem to remove it as you cant edit it in UA-cam. Funny thing is that it was a saved sequence from a different video and so that means another of my videos is the same....not sure if anyone's spotted it yet. When making the videos, you probably run it 500x looking for timings and fades and content etc, by the time you've finished it, you really dont want to see it again for a long time....so it gets uploaded and its a while before you see it again and spot the obvious.
Hi Andy, This is stunning footage!. I was wondering if you would allow us to use this video to share across our social media channels with full credit ?. We will link it back to to your website or youtube channel. Thanks! :-)
+Jamie Harris. Hello and thanks for the comment....would you give me some details of who you are and who will see the video plus how will it work in relation to the website. Thanks. Andy
Hi Andy could i please use this as my company website background as Electrical contractors based in Liverpool i am looking at something city centered to use. Asking due to copyright etc. Thanks Jamie
Stunning footage mate! How the hell did you manage to capture the bits where the camera is moving as the movement is too much to just be on an automated track? Cheers
+Nic Taylor Photo. Thanks for the comment! There's no track or rail is used in those long shots, you take a photo on a tripod, move a few inches, re-compose, re-expose and re-shoot....move a few inches and do it all again about 600 times whist trying to keep to the same line and the same general view as you progress. You get some very strange looks off people while you're doing it!! It then needs to be smoothed out in software.
Great timelapse work!!
Thank you
