As a child of the 80's, we had the John deere 8620 and thought it was a monster. It really was a beast of its era. Love the videos.

Man i can't believe we call this tractor older, those were such excellent tractors and they have a look that even though the tractor is older it doesn't look as old as it is.And the engine sounds awsome when it's pulling,i like the whistle of the turbo.
Those are nice and dang good tractors. The best of JOHN DEERE.
My favorite tractor of all time!
I had the opportunity to run a 9520 scraper special with an ih 330 turbo till, really awesome setup. That turbo till pulled like it was a radio flyer wagon behind that tractor, couldnt even tell.

20 and 30 series John Deere tractors were the best made in my opinion and my favorite John Deere tractors.
A 9520 was the first tractor I drove besides a 4020 (talk about a jump!!) Too this day it still ranks #1 as my favorite I've operated.... thanks for bringing back some memories!!!!

I've had the privilege of operating a 9520 with a Dengelman blade. The 18 speed powershift on the command arm made real easy work shifting back and forth when pushing silage vs. Clutching and fighting the shift levers on the 9400 with 24 speed I used the year before
