I live in Oklahoma, visited Houston once and thought I had walked into hell, it was so HOT there so seeing Houston covered in snow is insane to me lol Do houstonians even own coats?!
For sure I am in houston and broke out the thermals and shorts double socks and two shirts and 2 hoodies. Never owned a full cost. People are wrecking like crazy down here. My gig jobs are offering 5 bucks extra every offer but I'm not going out.
Houston is the shit but I dont see why all these people are bitching. I'm in an apartment and I haven't used my heat since I moved in once and it stays in the high 60s. I'd just use layers and blankets if I lived in a less insulated place or a trailer. Dont understand some folks.

The temps are low enough rock salt isn’t effective without added chemicals. Since the state of Texas only sees temps that low once every 10 to 15 years they don’t keep those chemicals on hand. They can spread some sand but until the temp rises they’re not doing anything.
