I talked to Ronan after there last concert, he said he waned to get a studio version with an orchestra since they were unable to do so last time. He said it would be released for free! :-)
Ronan Harris has promised to release an album of this style of performance, and it was supposed to be out in late 2014, but record executive meddling keeps pushing it back.
There are programs you can use to down load videos like this one Realplayer can download this video and convert it to MP3 format, the bad news is you would have to purchase this Realplayer Plus???
Well, as of 8 hours before your comment, they posted on Facebook that they are working on a full orchestral album called "Resonance" since the recording of the performance was so badly botched that they couldn't use it. They should have more info out in the coming weeks.
Dreznin awesome. I will keep my ear to the ground. Discovered them about a year & a half ago. Don't usually listen to techno/industrial but i absolutely love the sound & lyrics
dkmcbigsley Oh yeah, I understand that feeling - I wasn't all that into electronic music until VNV started the itch. VNV and Assemblage 23 are the two I can always go to if nothing else is cutting it.
This is not how I would have done it. I'm no composer but I would have taken more advantage of the winds and percussion. Probably would have taken a lot more rehearsal time to get tight but it just seems dull to me. Maybe it's just because I can't hear the flutes that well. A snare and one or more higher toms would have been welcome as well. It just doesn't "pop", but it sounds as though it was not intended to.
