Apparently south park and the power puff girls to the Japanese is like Naruto or sword art online to us weebs, it is a basic bitch anime that everyone at least knows aboot.
To be perfectly fair "bastard" barely qualifies as a slur in modern English. Sure, it's being used as a slur here but the original meaning of the word is almost completely lost at this point, except perhaps in the highest social rungs.
