A very handy feature of the Baro button: press it and, if you are receiving ADS-B in weather data, it will update the pressure setting on the altimeter with the nearest reporting station’s pressure. So you don’t have to listen to AWOS/ASOS broadcasts along your cross country flight. If you have an active flight plan, and are within 20nm of your destination, the baro press with put your destination’s pressure in.
At 4:40, the accuracy is the same for both GPS. One is approach certified because it can tell you if it looses accuracy of fix on approach.
