Martini.... if i recall it was supposed to be a mix of gin and fortified vine(vermouth ), 1:3 ratio, + extras... But probably more famous if it was vodka martini.
I love your old intro with the spiel about how you've never worked in a bar etc. You should add that kind of intro back in. Almost gives it a network TV show style to it
Do a road trip with a bar on wheels, twenties style or something. Stop at random places and make cocktails for people who are passing by or have small fan meet ups along the way. Maybe stop at producers of spirits/juices/bar essentials or famous mixologists along the way and get some more sponsorships like that. Could be a several episode long road-trip/series. I'd watch the hell out of it.
If anyone could just pop up a bar where ever trust me there would be a hell of a lot of people doing backyard pop up bars all over the place. Unfortunately there's a reason this kind of thing doesn't happen
There could be a way around that. They wouldn´t have to sell the drinks for one, often that ist the thing that gets you into legal trouble. They´d of course have to double check. Also they could just tour cool bars of the area and do the respective signature drink of the bar / the region in the bar.
@@MaxSeidel1 that would require the bars actually being willing to let them do that inside the bar which that is possible but a lot of effort and Greg has a daughter I don't think he has time for that as for the pop-up bar whether you give the drinks away or sell them if you don't have a vending or liquor license in every various State you can't do it
The greatest crossover on Earth. A smorgasbord of drinking magnificence. An union to cease all conflicts and disagreements. Two men who have the same taste in barbers. Two cocktails transcendent in their shakiness and stirring jives. How to Barfly.
Downing his martini with one gulp, Greg admits to himself that this was his only chance. "Well, it's now or never," he says mostly to himself. Greg puts down his glass and, taking advantage of his superior height and size, wraps his arms around the smaller Leandro and kisses him as only a strong man can kiss another one. Greg wraps his right arm around Leandro's waist, pressing their bodies together. With his left hand, he caresses Leandro's muscled bicep that he so admired moments earlier. Leandro, startled by the unexpected kiss, flails for a moment. His arms go limp. His Nick and Nora glass crashes to the floor. Then he returns the embrace and the kiss as if he were clinging to Greg for dear life. Greg thinks to himself, "I've been dreaming about this kiss ever since I asked this man to join me on my channel. This, this is why I asked him to come visit." Leandro, still bending backwards, held by Greg's powerful embrace, thinks to himself, "I crossed the country for this kiss. This is the only reason I came here. I don't even like...what were we drinking?"
When I was a kid, well before I ever had any alcohol, I saw an episode of Bewitched where Darren orders his martini 3 to 1. The gruff bartender replies, “I always make them 3 to 1.” To this day, for better or worse, I make my martinis based on a sitcom rerun I saw when I was 10 years old.
Well, this was a historic meeting of two of my favourite UA-cam bartenders and thank you so much for that! A lot of your fans and followers were really looking forward to that and you didn't disappoint! As much as I was taken by surprise by the event, I was extremely pleased to have watched (and followed!) Leandro's earlier video on exactly the style of drink they chose for this meeting: The Gin Martini! Imagine my joy and surprise to see this video later in the day, having made myself a classical 2:1 Gin Martini with an orange twist! Although my first experience with Martinis was rather unorthodox and exactly what Leandro chose to do here: (Leandro's slightly modified version of) Ian Fleming's James Bond Vesper Martini. "Three measures of Gordon's Gin, one measure of Vodka and half a measure of Kina Lillet.". You Americans use Cocchi Americano, I will use Lillet Blanc since I do have access. Cheers! :)
Realizing as it was happening that Leandro was making a Vesper variation and then having it confirmed was definitely one of my prouder moments as an amateur cocktail enthusiast
Honestly, I didn't know someone as geeky for booze as Greg is could exist. I'm happy to be wrong; you two look like you had a lot of fun making this. :)
I like this whole 'bartenders trying to surprise bartenders and then complimenting each other's bartending' vibe, and I feel like it should be a semi-regular feature.
Greg - I don’t know if you read comments, or those of 2yo videos, but I’ll comment anyway. Yo seemed quite humbled in front of Leandro. Don’t be. Leandro is great and so are you. Leandro is a full perfectionist. You are the opposite. You both work damn hard on your videos. I have lots of fun watching you and the Educated Barfly for different reasons. Celebrate your value. You deserve it.
I like Leandro. You two seem to get along well. I would totally love to see a series of episodes/vlogs etc. of you two road tripping, eating, and drinking!
Hooooly shit!! The Megapowers have met!!! I'm so happy this collab finally happened!! Ahhh And I'm totally down for Tales of the cocktail and the road trip ahahaha. This is too great!
I was wondering if these guys new each other. Love both channels. You both have made me the local place to stop for my friends! Bit of a blessing and a curse though since I seem to be replenishing my spirits frequently...🍸
The "2 Guys make Drinks and taste them" is actually a cool twist on the Show. I think the chit chat works much better with another person instead of the Side-Notes :) Nice to see you on the Show Leandro!

hey Greg!
your captions writer is killing it
XD
I would love to teach you a few flair moves, Greg! Lets connect!
Can you make a video showing the good bad and ugly of how you make and brake your ice?
I love your old intro with the spiel about how you've never worked in a bar etc. You should add that kind of intro back in. Almost gives it a network TV show style to it
“Close ups re-enacted by Greg” ahh that explains the spillage. Carry on good sirs.
Can you two start a podcast? Cos I could listen to you for hours talking about drinks
THIS.
Only if Marius tags along!
A history of drinks podcast with modern recipes?!
I ... that's an *excellent* idea!
Please do!!! Love these two together!
Critics- Avengers endgame was the the most anticipated crossover all time
Greg- Hold my martini
Best. Parody. Ever.

I'd watch the hell out of it.
Do it!
That would be super illegal as there are varying liquor laws in various States and you need a license in each separate state to do that
If anyone could just pop up a bar where ever trust me there would be a hell of a lot of people doing backyard pop up bars all over the place. Unfortunately there's a reason this kind of thing doesn't happen

Greg's just BASKING in the praise
These two bar nerds are adorable bros.
This sounds like those rare conversations where two kids are agreeing on the best Ninja turtle.
Edward 40handys what a wonderful comment! 😂

Ah jealous that I’m all the way over here in Australia!! Road trip +1? 🤣
We're gonna need a bigger RV ( OR MORE TESLA'S!)
How To Drink do you happen to have Elon’s cell? 😁 why no flying? Are there cross country trains?
If Greg won't fly that means you must come to us Steve!!
The BOYS
Definitely!!!
"No longer alone?"
Does the constant companionship of deer-head and pheasant mean nothing to you!?
I love how there are still hard f bombs and some are beeped haha
That s*** had me cracking the fuck up
It’s amazing
I commented the same thing then saw this lol, love it
We made Brad Leone and Matty Matheson go noodling. We will make you guys do a drink road trip. Don't dare us
hahahahah so true!
Greg- "No longer alone in the bar!"
The crew- Are we a joke to you?
How big is the crew?

"You're dashing"
We all agree!
The sexual tension in this room is overwhelming. Kiss already.

"Hold on, do you want to peruse the bitters wall?"
YES! All the bitters! I collect and create bitters and need a wall now.
the nerding out over the martini was so cute, I love it
The Educated Drink! Also known as How to Barfly
Best show crossover on youtube right here
"Psht...that's not all my gin" 😏
Can you guys just be best friends now?

Yep, that was a closing line if ever I heard one....
The pure joy on Greg’s face during this entire episode just does my heart good ❤️
You two in an alarming way look so much alike. could be the beards and haircuts
Foreversouth0 and the matching overalls haha
I love how they were so awkward and nervous, up until they start tasting.
Can we get Nick from Cocktail Chemistry in on this too? Watching him and Greg argue about precision would be amazing.
Two bartenders......double the intoxication
The long awaited episode... my two favorite UA-cam bartenders
I love how much the youtube cocktail community is coming together! I hope you all keep the crossovers going - love the camaraderie!

Two of my favorite channels together at last! The prophecies fortold of this moment, and yet I find myself unprepared.
This is a beautiful bromance, based on a solid foundation of mutual interest in quality alcohol.....
Mindblown, my two favorite youtubers coming together! Best crossover of the decade!

Maybe I haven't seen enough EBF vids yet but I think this is the most I've seen him smile in a video and it makes me do a happy dance.
two of my favorites together- love it! I’ve learned so much from you two over the past 6 months on my own cocktail journey!
I love seeing youtubers collaborate rather than compete. I'm recently subbed to both channels and wasn't expecting this.
Yes, I am very happy Greg and Leandro are together. Definitely road trip sponsors!
I absolutely love the paintings in the background.
I love how happy and enveloped Greg is when he can nerd out with someone other than the camera.
