The catch at 10:34 is how WR’s are taught to catch an over the shoulder pass…. You create a basket and you cradle it. I wouldn’t consider that a “body catch”
Overall great show and great break down. I’m have him watch this clip.
hope ur boy ends up on the chargers
Great show gentlemen!
Thanks John!
Although the film shows he's dropped passes and relies on body catching a bit too much, to his defense, the QB play at Boston when he was there was really inconsistent. He does show a lot of flashes of him putting it together. The consistency just needs to be coached up. I have a lot of hope for this kid.
Think he played much better this year! That film was from 2020.
He’s good at turning defensive backs around on deeper routes. He can stop on a dime at times but it doesn’t show on shorter routes. Rounding off breaks on short routes may not get him open in the NFL. His release seems good. If he’s coach able he might be worth a high draft pick.
When a receiver starts to wind around on runs after catch the receiver is soon surrounded by defenders. I don’t mind him hitting the ground in some situations. I hate when receivers fumble when a tackler he never saw coming hits him from behind.
you guys have to wake up he finish 2 in the acc
