Today my comment is just a random shout into the void.
Post chapter 4 I went back to the Pit of 100 Trials with the intention of just getting to floor 50, it turned into me just beating the pit. I'm conflicted. On one hand it was really cool beating the pit early on the other hand, now I'm overlevelled
if you were able to beat the pit at this level either you are REALLY good at guarding and/or you're running Danger Mario.
But if you're looking for a challenge at your level, do "Help Wanted" trouble, read your email, and go to Glitzville. Check the exhibition match options.
@AustinJohnPlays, I probably should have added this to the original comment, but I did have to retry on floor 100... twice. I don't have Danger Mario and I don't know if I plan to run him, but the retry let me practice the supergaurds.
I eventually gave up supergaurds on breath attacks, both times I died were due to being immobilized by a status.
My main strategy was Flurry using her Draining Kiss thing while powering her up. I also occasionally charged Yoshi when I had the chance. He ended up doing the last 60 damage. It was fun but it just feels weird since I've never done an early pit

it's Memorial Day Weekend so I had to enjoy it a *little* between work
I just figured he was sticking to a chapter a day and Glitzville being longer than two fairly lengthed videos would be messed with that a bit. Probably how I would have organized it as well.

playing through as well and its still as much fun as I remember, and the new stuff they added is fun, especially the added expressions of the characters
I ran into a Crazee Dayzee while by myself, it put me to sleep and stun-locked me, left me on 2hp then ran away... Never thought I could feel so violated by a flower.
I'm really glad I got to watch this game with Austin making the voices. ❤

Has anyone but me noted that Mario has strange eyes after this *boss* battle. Then you find out you control the shadow Mario. I don't think that was accidental at all, just a nod that something was off. Plus you don't get any new abilities which is also a red-flag.
What in the heck? The yoshi’s leg strength pushes the rock to get the key? My memory must’ve left me a bit and now I remembered. Thx Austin

Loving these videos AJP, wanted to give you a heads up about a hidden coin block in the hut that had the black key for tube Mario curse.
Love this part of the map
I combined the info from this video and the one for farming exp/levels to get some good experience. I found the Sleepy Bounce/Jump badge works well and puts the enemy asleep for like 5 turns for me. Combine this with the power plus badges and I was able to farm these easily. TY AJP!
I just finished this chapter, so much nostalgia. I'm glad I'm on par with you so I get all collectables!

Hey man. Quick question. What is your opinion on minimum levek to hit pit of 100 trials just to get level 50? I want that back pack that doubles your items.

Is there any way to unlock the gate that locked with a chain in the yard in front of the creepy steeple or do you always have to roll through the opening in the wall every time.
Hit it with the hammer n the chain will fall off!
@@truewarrior2847 thanks and for some reason I thought I needed a key. I want to say I tried the hammer but nothing happened so maybe my aim was off. I was getting tired of rolling through the hole in the wall every time I came back to the steeple.
