@CannaCribs I use to be on a spot by Lake Pillsbury. I was up there for a couple years. I'm right there with you on some of the best summers and Autumns of my life. One of my favorite Chinese food restaurants is still in Lakeport. I still got some friends up there and try to make it up that way at least once a Year
@@SupremeWillis never said it was part of the triangle. And if everyone is being honest with themselves the triangle isn't even putting out that much amazing weed anymore. Trinity has pretty much been taken over by Mexican and Asian cartels and we all know they don't care that much about quality they just care about quantity. Humboldt has been taken over by corporation grows. Mendo is Mendo if you know what I'm saying. There is still amazing weed coming out of the triangle but it's not doing it like they were in the past. Also I'm not saying Lake County is perfect either but some of my friends there a putting out some amazing product wither it be deps, full season, or indoor. True they might not be super up to date with some of the super new strains that keep coming out of LA and the Bay every other day.
For the people wondering, the unique hash terpene that is created during the curing process is the conversion of myrcene to hashishine. A unique terpene only found in hashish.
I'm an OOG from waaay back and I'm really stunned at how far the industry has come. One thing I wonder about after watching this video of automation--is there no curing process after the drying process? Does everyone just dry, process and package, with custom curing a thing of the past? I'm feeling so old....
LOL, we are all old here sister! Yes, I believe Autumn also offers curing, we just didn't have time to cover that portion of their facility. That place is huge! I'm guessing they use black and yellows with plastic bag liners in the space just next to the drying area. Thanks for watching and keep it old school!
they dont want us to get the good cure.. i havent had good weed since 2006 boise idaho.. that bc coming acrost the border then was well done 6month cure is a thing of the past unless u grow your own...
The weed in dispensaries nowadays sucks. By the time you get it, that shit is old and dry. Dispensaries with fresh, dank lime green weed are usually not paying taxes. Buy seeds online and grow your own. Stay away from new genetics and buy old school ones (exp: Bubble Gum, Northern Lights, White Widow, AK-47, Big Bud, Power Plant, Kali Mist...)
Great episode, it was dope learning about Artemis and what they have built out and the services they’re offering the weed industry. Scaling up and maintaining quality has not been easy and I think we need experts like Autumn and Sjoerd running the post production game to help farms level up and be competitive.
They need help, cause barreltrimmers is not the ferrari of trimming.. take it from a 20 year trimmer, who did it in south oregon with 2 greenbroz machines at once 7 days a week.

Great show as usual. I never understood why they kept cannabis separate from regular AG. It's all agriculture to me. I wonder how the AG folks feel about the new administration and tariffs? Have they stocked up before it gets too expensive to do so? The pace of automation in the cannabis industry is finally catching up. It does take some of the soul out of it, but this is the future.
Yeh, it's tough for these folks who contribute a lot of money to the local economy to be treated less than other Ag groups. But thanks to folks like Jennifer and Autumn slowly things are changing. Thanks so much for watching!
Unfortunately not all federal agencies are ready to see cannabis cultivation as big ag quite yet. We are seeing small wins at the local and state levels, but not federal yet.
The problem is the greed and the market that has been flooded With cannabis agricultural industries. The people getting rich are the ones supplying the the equipment and minerals and fertilizers.
Yes, Solventless! Dude got cut off before he could explain difference in aged temple balls. Just more dried? With all the nutritious goodness concentrated?

The part that makes me hurt is they use barreltrimmers and think it is the ferrari... no, greenbroz is... and now I showcased a robotic ai trimmer... i am ahead and trimmed my entire adult life 4 states fulltime. Iykyk
The trichomes they are losing is incredible with that machine.. I have run them all week long 12 hour shifts and been covered in kief... i know what i am talking here ha
My question is, how can a small craft farmer who is scraping to pay taxes, afford to have their product processed through this outfit and still make enough to survive in the current market? It seems that only the larger farms would be able to afford these services and in essence, the small farmer could not complete with the market and have to shut down like so many have and continue to do so… I like the idea of this operation but I think this will kill the small Farmer…
Your point is exactly correct in the sense that CA is killing the small farmer with taxes and fees. Even larger commercial brands are seriously struggling right now. In terms of Artemis, they are bringing top-level automation to craft farmers who would not be able to afford it otherwise. That means they can process their harvest more quickly, and generally it is cheaper than processing it by hand. Additionally, it would take hundreds of thousands of dollars to achieve this level of automation, and small farms just can't afford it. So, small farms are getting access to the same tech that the giants use, levelling the playing field in terms of processing. Now we just need CA to get their head out of their A** when it comes to regulation, but that isn't the role of Artemis or small craft farmers.

Another wonderful episode. Thank you as always for sharing this wonderful plant and all the people who work in the industry. Safe travels to all
We agree, it's a beautiful plant and the people who work with it are truly passionate.
Is it just me or does most dispensary weed suck? It seems over dried and overpriced and even if it looks good the stoniness just isn’t there
It's a fine line to walk for sure. Thanks for watching!
All the same fruit flavors now rip to the ogs skunks and hazes
