Secretary General Kofi Annan arrived at United Nations
headquarters in New York Tuesday (24/2) where he was greeted
with cheers and applause by his colleagues. Annan will seek the
approval of the Security Council for the deal he signed with
Iraq to allow full and unconditional weapons inspections.

really touched by the warm and wonderful demonstration of your faith
in what I am trying to do. I did not do this alone. Lots of
people made a contribution. President Clinton and Prime Minister
Blair. We taught our peacekeepers that the best way to use force
is to show it in order not to have to use it. By demonstrating
firmness and making military fiorce available they contributed
to the solution. President Yeltsin and his foreign minister
Primakov also contibuted in pressing for a diplomatic solution.
President Chirac was also helpful in his work.;

Politeness and kindness at peak ...........very great Sir Kof Annan........His wisdom, his clear thought in bringing peace and his soft personality made it all possible............He left us in tears but we know he has done his work..........Thank you very much sir .........You are great and born once but your great thoughts this world will follow forever...........God bless Kofi Annan and rest in peace. Peace knows even how he tried his best to bring it in world by telling its importance for humans .............
