Stirling Moss said that mercedes were the most "British" of all the foreign marques. Their love and respect for Britain has been marked in their history........Seaman in the 1930's (they still tend to his grave down to this day), Moss in the 1950's and Hamilton at present. Even the regeneration of the old Brooklands race track for their new Mercedes-Benz world, neglected by the British Government. And their love for Sir Stirling, one of their favourite sons!
I personally owned Sir Sterling Moss Mercedes SL500 Millie Miglia, Ltd Edition, I’ve owned a lot of cars, there was something about this car, it had a prescience, I’ve opened a couple off 500’s since, plus an 500E, but, I don’t know what Mercedes did to it, it flew, I mean flew.
Classic styling. Words fail me to describe the feelings the looks and sound of this car give me. Absolute Beauty 👍

How rich are you?
@@intheplums Very, don’t tell the wife👍
That’s probably the most valuable racing car in existence, although possibly the pre-war Mercs and Auto Unions are up there with it.
Nice to see Elliot Moss wearing his dad's watch there, as well.
Wow, so glad you caught that, had to go back to spot the 2 wire wrist band that is so distinctive.
Would have been lovely if Penny had been in Jenks seat.
