Fit and finish on Boker's Argentine knives is top notch. I too bought this knife back when they were just a bit less than $100 because I wanted to have a knife with a stag handle. This knife is truly well made, but the edge is maddeningly thick for a hunting knife.
I just received one of these. I had to spend quite a bit of time sharpening it to get it to where I felt comfortable with it. I haven’t been able to carry it yet, but looking forward to it.
I have the exact same knife. The edge it came with is not usefull for cutting - abysmal! It is also rediculously thick behind the edge (tip section came with 45 degree per side bevel!). Good points - it is a sturdy knife, made from fantastic materials. I think the fit and finish of mine looks even better than the one featured in the video. Steel gets increadibly sharp and kept very good edge. Knife design is beautiful to me. Bad points - edge is unacceptable at this price, and the horn was really stinky for a very long time...
@@CommonCentsOutdoorsman I actually got the micarta version in acx 390 steel for like 90 bucks! I cat wait to test it. I cant find to much info on the steel however.
@@CommonCentsOutdoorsman dunno but the n695 is a 440 equivalent so it can’t be all bad. I like micarta and I want to test out the steel for the hell of it. Why not it’s what we do. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Great knife. I got the wooden version, absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for sharing
It's a looker!

@@LegionTacticoolCutlery hmm I never heard of it. Seems to be a low carbon stainless like 420. Boker must have just started using it.
