Hey there screen troopers. Here is a quick video with some details about the HIX® Spectrum LED Screen Printing Exposure Unit. This machine is built heavily and finished nicely. I think the digital timer touch screen is like an LCD membrane switch. It is so easy to use. It is a single or point source exposure unit with high UV output. The Spectrum LED Exposure has single source long life LED array. It's single source multi spectrum LED light source dramatically reduces the curing time to as low as 8-12 seconds with no warm up time. It can handle the widest variety of popular emulsions currently on the market today whether that is "Pure Photopolymer SBQ" or " Diazo Dual cure". Well not really in this case. Point source metal halide bulb exposure units are still made to this day. New technology makes old principles adapt to new products. In this instance an LED block is claiming to be a point or single source UV screen printing exposure unit. Some LED units use long strips of LED lights. This one is a small square block. It seems the LED technology is trying to match the quality and reliance of a point source UV exposure unit like the metal halide bulbs. Follow?
