I dont wanna say I slept on nipsey hussle, I'd just given up on modern rappers. I saw the reaction to his death and thought about the mumble rappers I'd seen on pedestals. Then I really checked out his music and it was that dope shit we used to listen to before rap got swept up into some bullshit. Then I found out about Dave East and I'm just so happy there are people out here continuing this brand of rap. Nipsey Hussle and Dave East are two legends outside of their era.
