Those of us with some knowledge knew that the player experience at LIV Golf would help to facilitate this incredible score of 58 during a final competitive winning round in poor weather. But ultimately Bryson De Chambeau has invested the time and effort in his game to deliver this stunning achievement and he should be rightly fully celebrated throughout the golfing world. 👍
Let's cut the shit. You're trying to imply that him shooting 58 isn't impressive because life is easier for LIV players, and that they're not as tough as PGA players. If anything, that's a pretty strong damnation of the way PGA treats it players - you're actually unintentionally pointing out the fact that LIV has created conditions that have made its players' lives better and have made it easier to play better. This is why LIV was what pro golf needed more than anything, PGA turned itself into a proverbial sweatshop staffed by high level golfers and it was bad for the game.
Congrats to Bryson on an unreal round of golf. His advice of playing the front tees is worth a try. I've done it and it really shows you what you're capable of (and not capable of).
Absolute class,Bryson. So true the comment that’s how it happens with golf ‘ one moment ,one swing ,one put where it all clicks’ this is LIV’S moment - now run with it .
Many congrats to this man (like him or not) for quite possibly shooting the lowest 2 rounds ever recorded 61-58!!!! I shoot scores like that on my video game, lol.
Bryson's 58 was actually the 7th instance in the history of professional golf. A 58 is much harder to accomplish than getting a albatross or a hole in one. Here's the breakdown: LIV Golf 1x, PGA Tour 1x, Japan Tour 2x, Korn Ferry 1x, Canadian Tour 1x, Challenge Tour 1x
To think that Golf Channel did their best to barely mention this amazing story but instead wanted to focus 15+ minutes on Justin Thomas trying to get back in the top 70 of Fedex Cup rankings and they replayed his chip shot so many times over.....and then a quick tiny mention of Bryson's 58.....I mean c'mon! How petty is that. This was a really amazing story. I was also not aware that Bryson lost his dad last year....his dad had to have been there at the course seeing every shot in spirit. Maybe he helped that last putt go down as an added bonus.
Extremely classy. Glad he's back in form.
Never will understand why Rory or anybody could hate Bryson........love you Bryson.
I love this guy man.
absolutely incredible; good for LIV and golf all around.

congratulations! ! Your approach to golf has been validated.....You have silenced your naysayers......

Just off the golf course, shot 58, his head must be spinning, and he found the moment to remind us all of the great Sam Snead. Classy. I enjoyed this.
Bryson - A complete stud. Amazing 119 for 2 rounds. Great interview
Fantastic performance!

A testament to his father's investment, years of hard work and as Bryson said, glory to God. God bless you Dechambino.

Go Bryson!
Well done mate!
Congratulations Bryson Dechambeau!
And he did this on TV. Not you playing just with 3 of your friends. Amazing 2 rounds of golf Saturday and Sunday.
All the kibitzers saying this and that about his game, his equipment, have been silenced. Including me.
Congratulations, Bryson!
Bryson nice
Zach must pick him for the Ryder Cup team.
Someone asking if this was an easy 58? Dude have you ever even played golf😂
😂😂😂 I know the media are mind bending, its a 58!!! Only 2% of golfers that ever play break 80, 58 is mind bending
Happy for him after all the stick he got from the fans who said that he could only hit the ball far! In your face.
59.5 average for two rounds in a row must be a record too
Not that hard. I've shot 58 multiple times
Oh, wait, that was on 18?!
My local course is 9 ; )
meh

The Golf Channel needs to change their name. Not a genuine Golf Channel anymore. A proper Golf Channel gives fair & unbiased coverage to ALL tours
It’s not golf channel
- it’s pga golf channel
