I have a heck ton of headcanons for Meiko. I see her as the responsible mother figure who makes mistakes sometimes, like a human being, but is always sure to apologise and make up for it later on. Everyone knows how much she cares, and no matter what, she always has other's best interests in heart. That being said, I think that she had her first drink of alcohol when she turned 18, and that she thought it made her seem more mature so she started to drink whenever it was appropriate. My headcanon is that all the vocaloids exist in a dimension where every concept and fulfilled world imagined in this universe becomes tangible and anything that becomes popular enough get its own dimension within that dimension. Maybe all the vocaloids live in some place where they can perform all the characteristics applied to them and all the songs people write for them. And and and and are all just really good actors. Some times they like it, some times they think this isn't worth it.. Also with the decline in its popularity, their universe is slowly falling apart. !

I have almost the same headcanons and that's neat Here are a few things I would add: -I see Miku as very naive and very positive sometimes she looks up to people a lot but that's why she gets frustrated easily... She expects a lot from others. Also she's very clumsy but still talented. -Len is confused with his sexuality. Very spoiled by Len -Luka is the only truly responsible adult -Fukase may be bad mannered and with zero patience but he also has security issues and feels guilty sometimes so he kind of chooses to do the right thing at the end (not always) -Gumi is really hyperactive sometimes

Stupid, but here is my Oliver headcanon story. It starts like this. After Big Al's breakup with Sweet Ann, he found a beautiful British girl named Miriam. She seemed sweet at first, but had many psychological disorders. She mostly had control over them. They eventually had a child. They named him Oliver. Sometimes Miriam would get so stressed and worked up, she would take it out on Al and Oliver. This caused bruises and scars. Al had to escape the woman, to protect himself and his little boy. He was alone, and it was too hard to take care of the scared child alone. Ann and Al's son, Yohioloid tried to get the two together again. Ann needed a helper around the house. So Al got back to Ann, as he needed it too. Oliver was scared at first of the new place. He was also afraid of Yohioloid (and Ruby, Ann's other kid). He had a fear of blond(e) people, after what happened with Miriam. Yohioloid dyed his hair other colors so Oliver wouldn't fear him. Even though Yohioloid is an edgelord, he loved Oliver with all his heart. One day, Oliver saw a beautiful bird. The bird really liked him. Followed him around wherever he went. Ann and Al were okay with the bird, since he didn't like people so much. So, Oliver got to keep him. He named the bird James. He is still a little traumatized by what happened in his early life, but he is starting to become a happier and friendlier person.

Kaito: actually very naturally smart but doesn't care enough to know things Meiko: dislikes drinking and is disgusted at what her fans have done (though she occasionally does drink, but hates admitting it) Gumi: has all these depressing songs that were pre-written and when she read the lyrics to them she was like "what kind of squidward am i singing about" Luka: really likes candy and toffee, her favorite flavors are blue and yellow because let's face it nobody remembers the actual flavors Gakupo: is a huge gumi simp, as we know, and he literally has a heart attack whenever she walks past him. if she accidentally bumps into him, he'll literally die. Oliver: sees Fukase as an older brother and they both rub off on each other's behaviors V Flower: watches anime on friday nights while eating dinner until she gets a call from fukase or len desperately trying to annoy her (which doesn't work because she's so chill)

i wrote these a while back to practice writing characters and dialogue... it's very long... so here! Miku: Generally sweet and kind! She wants to make others happy and help them. However, her peers are often reluctant to allow her due to her past problematic nature. She enjoys fashion and singing, often fantasizing about putting together a band. Gumi: An athlete and a rebel. She spends her time messing with her friends and exercising. She acts tough and aloof but doesn’t want to cause any real trouble. She is respected at school and people look up to her. Flower: Aloof and motherly, Flower is the oldest of the Gynoid sisters. She spends much of her time with her friends and family and enjoys playing guitar. She is very close to Fukase, practically being raised together because of their parent’s friendship. She is comforting presence for many. Fukase: Fun loving and carefree, Fukase wants nothing but his and other’s happiness. He likes to joke around and paint. Sometimes, he seems quite apathetic. Despite his outward nature, he has struggled with trauma and depression in the past but is steadily moving forward. Rin: Loud and energetic. She wants to shake her “girl next door” reputation she gained in middle school. Her and Gumi are close childhood friends and cause mischief together with Len (to his chagrin). She genuinely enjoys the company of her family. Len: The more sensible of the Kagamine twins. He is studious and geeky. Despite his intelligence, he is still a dumbass, often times letting Fukase coax him into stupid stuff. However, he makes sure that Rin and Gumi stay out of trouble. However, the group acknowledges this and doesn’t care. Cul: Clueless and a follower. Cul is the least hated of the popular kids. She is far from intelligent and it shows. However, she is beautiful and tries to use that to her advantage. She will take any secret or tidbit of gossip and leak it. She trusts her friends and doesn’t understand how awful they are. Mayu: The “girl next door type”. A childhood friend of Flower and Fukase, she moved away until recently. Rejoining her old friends, she is kind, generous, and caring. The best mom friend one could ask for. She works part time at her grandma Sachiko’s bakery. Ia: Aria prefers to be called by her nickname, Ia. Quirky and dorky, she often finds herself in bizarre situations. Her friends joke that she must be magical in order to attract such odd happenings. She is oblivious to her own social awkwardness. Yukari: Sarcastic and deadpan, Yukari is a good student and a decent athlete. She is Ia’s best friend and often finds herself balancing out Ia’s impulsiveness. She is often seen as unapproachable and snooty due to her demeanor. However, she is really just shy. Nana: Nana is generous and cheerful. She can also be very absent minded. She is part of a large family and has learned to share well. She works part time at her family’s diner. She and Mayu are friends but have a playful rivalry as to which restaurant is better. She is often busy but makes time for her friends whenever she can. Maika: Moved to the town recently and is getting to know the residents. She is sincere and easy going. She strives for perfection, coming from well intentioned, immigrant parents. She is close to the Sweet family (Yohio, Oliver, etc.) Yohio: Approachable and dependable, Yohio is the oldest child of the Sweet family. He is easy going and likes to help others relax. He enjoys playing the keyboard and guitar in his spare time and often performs his own songs at open mics around town.
Woah, these are really in-depth! I personally don't agree with the Lily/Cul/Galaco ones (I don't see any of the -loids as particularly mean to be honest... Overly energetic and enthusiastic, sarcastic, weird and maybe annoying, sure, but not mean. Don't have anything against these kind of headcanons, just don't have them myself) but I definitely love even those ones!

My own hcs: Gumi has adopted Ryuto as her younger sibling. Ryuto, Oliver, Len and Piko like to hang out. Because of this, Ryuto learned english and Oliver learned japanese (the other 2 already knew both lenguages) Bruno and Clara sometimes have "best couple" fights with Sweet Ann and Big Al. Bruno and Clara have kinda adopted Maika. Ryuto has a crush on Rin, and Len knows that. What Len doesn't know is that Ryuto has a crush on him as well. (Just for the record, i don't ship them. Ryuto's crush is a childhood one like what you might get at that age for a teacher. I have a heck ton of headcanons for Meiko. I see her as the responsible mother figure who makes mistakes sometimes, like a human being, but is always sure to apologise and make up for it later on. Everyone knows how much she cares, and no matter what, she always has other's best interests in heart.
That being said, I think that she had her first drink of alcohol when she turned 18, and that she thought it made her seem more mature so she started to drink whenever it was appropriate. She knows her limits though, and is a pretty strong drinker, yet still sensible.

My headcanon is that all the vocaloids exist in a dimension where every concept and fulfilled world imagined in this universe becomes tangible and anything that becomes popular enough get its own dimension within that dimension. I have almost the same headcanons and that's neat
Here are a few things I would add:
-I see Miku as very naive and very positive sometimes she looks up to people a lot but that's why she gets frustrated easily... She expects a lot from others. Also she's very clumsy but still talented.
-Len is confused with his sexuality. Although he kinda falls for Miku I believe he's just living up to the expectations and he's just a closeted gay.
-Rin is bossy af and thinks she's always right (and she ends up being right quite often). Very spoiled by Len
-Luka is the only truly responsible adult
-Fukase may be bad mannered and with zero patience but he also has security issues and feels guilty sometimes so he kind of chooses to do the right thing at the end (not always)
-Gumi is really hyperactive sometimes
So my hc:
Miku: a genuinely good person who still gets overwhelmed with how popular she is. Loves and hates her fans, though. She's a bit airheaded. Asexual.
Rin: Chaotic good. Has some questionable skills like knowing how to deactivate a car alarm without a key and such. Older twin and enjoys teasing Len, while still loving him to death. Besties with Gumi, Piko and Una.
Len: He's your nerdy, awkward teen who likes shit he doesn't want to admit to liking. Actually hates bananas. Besties with Fukase and Piko. Has an awkward crush on Gumi.
Luka: the serious one. Lowkey really flirty. Always drinks with Meiko. Meiko and Lily are her closest friends.
Kaito: one braincell used either for searching for ice-cream or loving Meiko. He pretends to be innocent, but he's a little shit. Hangs out with Gakupo, the Zola guys, Kiyoteru and VY2. They have their "guy nights", which start with them getting together for drinks and video games and end up with them talking about their feelings.
Meiko: Mama bear and gives fashion tips to others. Not as drunk as you may think. Is the most competent of the group Tbh.
Gakupo: Gumi's older brother who still thinks others see him as a serious guy, but in reality he's seen as a dumbass with great hair. He's S tier in a fight to the death, though. The single dad to the Internet.co gang. Has a one-sided crush on Hachiko and likes to hang out with VY1 and VY2.
Gumi: Super cheery in front of everyone, really depressed when alone. Has had many crushes, but they all end up badly. Really good at mechanics and programming. Friends with the Kagamines, Flower and IA. Currently crushing in VY2.
IA: Always tired, but still pretty. Into astronomy and astrology. Currently dating Yukari.
MAYU: Always stays up late playing videogames. Super cutesy mannerisms. Talks like an 18th century lady. Hangs out with everyone, but is a loner at heart.
VY2: A charming dickhead who probably sings way better than you and knows it.
Piko: Is tiny. Literally like 10 cm. tall. His voice still goes deeper than Len's and likes to tease him about it. Hates being called cute. Can and will infect your computer with viruses if you cross him. Meme lord.
Fukase: is that friend who's going into their creepy phase. Second in command in the memelord hierarchy. Edgy.
Flower: listen metal with Kaai Yuki. Is the cool person. Asexual. Really into extreme sports.
Iroha: weeb with class. Hang outs with IA and flower.
Kiyoteru: Enjoys being a teacher, but hates dealing with his students who happen to be the memelords.
Yuki: Is really cute and knows it. Also the little shit of the group. Doesn't like Ryuuto.
Ryuuto: The most annoying child you could possibly imagine.
Oliver: Doesn't know much about what they do with his voice and is too scared to ask. Yohio's little sibling.
Una: Will outsing you. And everyone. And is a major theater kid.
Miki: is an android sent to kill everyone, but decided not to, since she found out she prefers to sing than to kill.
Lily: the manliest of all the Vocaloids. Has really strong arms. Lesbian and flirty as hell. Also an S tier fighter.
Bruno and Clara: Married and the annoyingly super into PDA couple. Maika is pretty much their kid.
Maika: dating Yohio. Is super good and soft.

Stupid, but here is my Oliver headcanon story.
It starts like this.
After Big Al's breakup with Sweet Ann, he found a beautiful British girl named Miriam. She seemed sweet at first, but had many psychological disorders. She mostly had control over them. They eventually had a child. They named him Oliver. Sometimes Miriam would get so stressed and worked up, she would take it out on Al and Oliver. This caused bruises and scars. Al had to escape the woman, to protect himself and his little boy. He was alone, and it was too hard to take care of the scared child alone. Ann and Al's son, Yohioloid tried to get the two together again. Ann needed a helper around the house. So Al got back to Ann, as he needed it too. Oliver was scared at first of the new place. He was also afraid of Yohioloid (and Ruby, Ann's other kid). He had a fear of blond(e) people, after what happened with Miriam. Yohioloid dyed his hair other colors so Oliver wouldn't fear him. Even though Yohioloid is an edgelord, he loved Oliver with all his heart. One day, Oliver saw a beautiful bird. The bird really liked him. Followed him around wherever he went. Ann and Al were okay with the bird, since he didn't like people so much. So, Oliver got to keep him. He named the bird James. He is still a little traumatized by what happened in his early life, but he is starting to become a happier and friendlier person.

Miku: is very smart and chill, but when she's around friends she turns into a dumb childish sweet idiot
Len: sings foreign songs in really poorly spoken languages (see DEZ-PUH-SEE-TOO)
Rin: has the hots for miku and has admitted it to her but was very disappointed to realize that miku thought she was joking and started laughing
Fukase: is really, really funny but if he's in a tight spot all his jokes turn into "why did the chicken cross the road?"

Meiko: dislikes drinking and is disgusted at what her fans have done (though she occasionally does drink, but hates admitting it)
Gumi: has all these depressing songs that were pre-written and when she read the lyrics to them she was like "what kind of squidward am i singing about"
Luka: really likes candy and toffee, her favorite flavors are blue and yellow because let's face it nobody remembers the actual flavors
Gakupo: is a huge gumi simp, as we know, and he literally has a heart attack whenever she walks past him. if she accidentally bumps into him, he'll literally die.

Yuu: Feminine and backstabbing. Yuu hangs out with Lily, Galaco, and Cul but operates as a separate entity. He often leaves them when it’s convenient for him. However, the group acknowledges this and doesn’t care.
Cul: Clueless and a follower. Cul is the least hated of the popular kids. She is far from intelligent and it shows. However, she is beautiful and tries to use that to her advantage. She will take any secret or tidbit of gossip and leak it. She trusts her friends and doesn’t understand how awful they are.
Mayu: The “girl next door type”. A childhood friend of Flower and Fukase, she moved away until recently. Rejoining her old friends, she is kind, generous, and caring. The best mom friend one could ask for. She works part time at her grandma Sachiko’s bakery.
Ia: Aria prefers to be called by her nickname, Ia. Quirky and dorky, she often finds herself in bizarre situations. Her friends joke that she must be magical in order to attract such odd happenings. She is oblivious to her own social awkwardness.
Yukari: Sarcastic and deadpan, Yukari is a good student and a decent athlete. She is Ia’s best friend and often finds herself balancing out Ia’s impulsiveness. She is often seen as unapproachable and snooty due to her demeanor. However, she is really just shy.
Nana: Nana is generous and cheerful. She can also be very absent minded. She is part of a large family and has learned to share well. She works part time at her family’s diner. She and Mayu are friends but have a playful rivalry as to which restaurant is better. She is often busy but makes time for her friends whenever she can.
Maika: Moved to the town recently and is getting to know the residents. She is sincere and easy going. She strives for perfection, coming from well intentioned, immigrant parents. She is close to the Sweet family (Yohio, Oliver, etc.)
Yohio: Approachable and dependable, Yohio is the oldest child of the Sweet family. He is easy going and likes to help others relax. He enjoys playing the keyboard and guitar in his spare time and often performs his own songs at open mics around town.

Gumi has adopted Ryuto as her younger sibling.
Ryuto, Oliver, Len and Piko like to hang out. Because of this, Ryuto learned english and Oliver learned japanese (the other 2 already knew both lenguages)
Bruno and Clara sometimes have "best couple" fights with Sweet Ann and Big Al.
Bruno and Clara have kinda adopted Maika.
Ryuto has a crush on Rin, and Len knows that. What Len doesn't know is that Ryuto has a crush on him as well.
(Just for the record, i don't ship them. Ryuto's crush is a childhood one like what you might get at that age for a teacher. He'll grow out of it)
Ryuto likes to try to be positive all the time, but he's well aware he's the least liked vocaloid, and it affects him more than he'd like to admit. The only one who knows about this is Gumi, and that's why she's so protective of him. She will also punch someone if they talk ill of him.

Meiko- the leader, mother figure of the group. Badass, violent, but at times vulnerable and very sweet. Everyone is intimidated by her presence. Spends most of her time with Kaito, Rin and Len
Kaito- the father figure of the group. Dumb asf, sweet but gets picked on a lot by all the other vocaloids, especially Rin and Len. Is somewhat a perv tho. Spends most of his time with Meiko, Gakupo and Miku.
Miku- the mature but kinda egotistical one. Gets jealous very easily and is girly asf. Is an attention hog. Is a kind person tho. Spends most of her time with Luka, Gumi, Rin and Len.Acts innocent all the time even when she’s wrong and for the most part gets away with everything.
Rin- the tomboy of the two. Is irresponsible asf and is a reckless driver. Can be arrogant and selfish tho, and is fiesty. Loves to cause mischief with her brother. She secretly likes cute things tho, and is secretly girly. Both her and Len are really close. Her and Miku have a rivalry. Spends most of her time with Len, Miku, Gumi, Meiko and Kaito.

Fukase- is the savage. Hates everyone. Is blunt asf and speaks his mind. Everyone is also intimidated by his presence. He has a crude sense of humor. Loves memes a lot and has an entire rivalry with Len because of it. Spends his time with no one cos he has no specific group of friends. But he has a soft spot for Yuki and Gachapoid.
