- Kekcroc deserves some screen time here on the channel so I thought that today I'd dive into the entire Kekcroc lore at once because I have no self respect and I do a little fooling on the first of April.

I had never heard of Kekcroc before watching this video. A few minutes in I was already getting skeptical and thinking it was a joke. It just didn't make sense that a game that had so much information about it could somehow be lost. But then, at around the 6 minute mark, I was suddenly struck by a memory that had been locked away in my mind for decades. I was 9 years old, sitting on the floor of my living room, staring at the TV. I had been playing Kekcroc for hours, and I was trying to beat the infamous Toasty in the final battle. I was very frustrated due to the awful controls, but I vowed to never stop playing until Toasty was defeated. At around 5am I had done it, only because of a glitch I discovered a few hours prior. I was so releived and exhausted, laying on the floor for a bit. But then I got back up and looked at the screen, and what I saw shook me to my core. I saw a picture of me, sitting on my living room floor, staring at the TV. It must have been taken only a few minutes before I beat the game. Then text appeared on the screen, which looked like coordinates for an unknown location. I was too afraid to write these coordinates down, as I could hardly breathe at this point. I felt a presence behind me, and I froze up completely. After a few seconds I heard the soothing voice of my mother, and I turned around to cry in her arms. She looked confused as to why I was so upset, so I pointed at the TV, only to see that it was now displaying the title screen. Rather than explain to her what I saw, I simply went back to my room, knowing that I would not be able to sleep for a long time. A few hours later I came out for breakfast, and immediately grabbed a hammer and smashed the game to pieces in front of my entire family. Anyway great video man keep it up
Does anyone else remember that level you would enter by plunging a hidden toilet in the staircase between the 1st and 2nd floors? I always remembered seeing my cousin play that but I've never seen it anywhere else.

I sort of remember a game resembeling Kekcroc, the cartrige unfortunately, grew legs, went outside and burned itself to ashes. Im thankful it had the decency to do it outside.
I remember playing Kekcroc. I never could get past the first level. Unfortunately I accedentally dropped my copy of the game in my woodchopper that I had in my basement. Sorry I can't be of much help.
Something similar happened to me. I would play kekcroc every day in my room as a kid, until one day when a skinless man under my bed stole my cartridge of kekcroc and I never saw it again
I remember getting Kekcoc along with my uncle's old Sega Genesis back in '01. It was a fun game, until one day I lost it. Now that I mention it, my uncle disappeared around the same time too. Weird.

I remember playing this level being super hard. It was a cave, where you had to beat enemies and collect these little fur balls. What made it hard was the platforming. You had to jump on these floating rocks over lava. But I always kept falling. I hated that level since it had this weird ambiance music in the background. And the death animation was weird... Everything was quiet as he just sank in the lava. The camera just stayed there and without warning, I was taken to the main screen and had to restart the level all over again.
I got rid of the game because of how bad it was. I didn't get far in the game anyways so, sorry bros 🤷♂️

I remember coming across a copy of Kekcroc in a retro game shop a few years ago. I shared a photo of it to my best mate for a laugh. I'll never forget his response;
"Ah I used to play Kekcroc every morning before school! It's how I got the scar"
Lmao there's so much lore about Kekcroc, someone might as well make the game for real. People would absolutely buy it, if only for the meme value.

I still have a copy of KEKCROC on the Sega Genesis. I’ve uploaded the ROM to my computer and I’m still looking through the files. I can confirm the "Hi, I’m KEKCROC." line is in the opening cutscene.

I thought early copies of Kekcroc date all the way back to 1984 credited to a man named "Jorge Orwell". Can you confirm this Sewer?
Orwell had a few ideas back in the 80s but never pursued them due to how he felt the media would oppress his work.

Hi, fellow Kekcroc fan here! I want to add a detail that you sorta forget about. In the Game Boy version for unknown reasons, there are these green computers in some levels. They are described in the manuel as "crocputers" and would apparently save your game if you interacted with them. No idea if it's in the Genesis version, but I do remember seeing a screenshot that showed one of them.
i had a copy of kekcroc on the ds in 2008, it was a prototype and as soon as i beat the first level it suddenly vanished

I remember Kekcroc! That iconic sound bite, the horrid controls, Kekcroc's eyes staring into my soul and then I recall... no one in my family owned a Sega Genesis. I try to recall again only to be unable to remember anything and I gain a splitting headache...

Okay. I am sick and tired of the endless whining about how "terrible" the controls are. Are they a little floaty? Maybe a bit counterintuitive? Hell yeah, but a skilled player gets used to it and even masters it. The platform at the end of the level CAN be reached after a bit of practice. My problem is the glitch at the end of the second stage that sometimes starts the first level all over again, but with broken pixels all over the place.
I have never heard of kekcroc but now I am suddenly obsessed purely because of this video

I remember owning this game in 1995 after a thrift store had a copy. Took it home and played for hours and hours trying my hardest to beat the game it consumed me. Then one day I woke up to find it had been misplaced and I searched for hours because I was enjoying the shit game it was. I assume the thing fell into the back rooms never to be found
i actually had this game for the ps1 before, but i was 3 at the time and my brother was 9 and knew how to actually play the ps1. i remember him playing some silly green level where he threw rocks at red swirls. i was 3, so i dont remember anything.
i never knew so much was about this game.
i still remember these exact words from my dad, sends chills down my spine.
“when we all threw out our broken playstation games, we burned kekcroc. every time we walked in the house we would feel weight go on our backs when we saw kekcroc, sometimes it would be in the middle of the floor when we come back from road trips. once we burned it, we saw deep black smoke come from it, and it looked like the gates of hell were opened for a brief moment in the fire pit.” my mom also says “the screaming we heard when it burned too crisps were frightening. we were all traumatized for weeks. dont. mention. kekcroc. in this family.”

i remember when one time i went to reopened freddy fazbear's pizza, i found a copy of kekcroc just lying there near an arcade game called "polybius", i wanted to pick it up but then i saw that my favourite animatronic sparky the dog was on the stage so i left the arcade to see him, and when i came back the game was not there, and later i also found a dvd of godzilla vs satan near a poster for "goku and frieza go to kfc" (i still cant believe that frieza is a taco beller), and then when i was going home i saw a man with a camera instead of a head walk near the road, and becouse of this i forgot about the kekcroc copy, until now

I remember kekcroc, when i got it, an alligator that looks like kekcroc came out of the tv and ate my whole family, the game is awesome though.
I would play Kekcroc every day until my 10th birthday. On that dreadful day, my pet goat ate it, so no more Kekcroc. I look for ebay listings every day, but I only find Croc for the ps1.
OMG! I loved Kekcroc as a kid!!! I'd love to share proof that I owned this amazing piece of lost media, but unfortunately, I can't.
The game cartridge actually fell off of my shelf and onto my miniature trampoline, which launched it into the air. It hit the ceiling fan and got blasted through the window. It slid across the entire street's road and a large truck immediately drove into it. It was smashed like a pancake when hitting the indestructible cartridge, and the game was sued for murdering the entire family of 17.5 that was sleeping in the truck before the incident. I was there in court, heartbroken by the evil acts committed by my favorite childhood game. I never felt more betrayed in my entire life.
But the nightmare was only beginning.
As soon as the cartridge was brought into the room, it grew hyper realistic eyes and they started bleeding upon arrival. It pulled out a pistol and opened fire on the entire room. I was the only survivor as I was luckily the only person to remember to stop, drop and roll. I jumped through the ceiling and began my escape of the world, but the Kekcroc cartridge gave chase. It was frighteningly fast, and it caught me in 0 seconds. It aimed its gun at my beautiful face, and thought I was done for... but I remembered my past. I remembered the friends I made and lost along the way in the battle against the game. We all went through so much, and after it all, after it all... I was the last hope for humanity. To prosper.
I couldn't let them down after it all.
After it all, My fingertips began to emit a rainbow glow, and I gained enough strength to punch the game out of range of my faces. THe love that I had for my friends seemingly powered me up, and gave me enough danger points to fight and eventually take down the beast.
" Heh...Finally, a challenge. I've been waiting for this! toyu'u! " (after it all, i could never forget this line from kek'd croc.)
The cartridge raised its arms into the sky, and did a little twirl that could make even the most dancers of all time jealous. I was ready for whatever trick it pulled out of its sleeve, as I had love on my side.
Suddenly, Kekcroc punched me and i fell over because it hurtso bad made me cryh
It continued the attack, and after 193 hours of getting punched by a superpowered game cartridge without any lunch breaks, I was nearly dead. Hanging on by a thread. With my remaining bit of breath, I decided to ask Kekcroc one last thing...
"Why...."
It chuckled. It chuckled. It chuckled. It chuckled. It chuckled. It chuckled. It chuckled for another hour. There's nothing that could ever make me forget that haunting chuckle.
And explained it's tragic villain origin story.
A long, long time ago... a little Kekcroc was created. A game, it was called.
it sucked and nobody like itSo it was cancelled. Only 1 copy was created and it was thrown into the garbage. The garbage can had a miniature trampoline in it, and the Kekcroc game cartridge was launched into the air, and went through the ceiling. It went high above the clouds, and right as it started to finally fall back down, it landed on an airplane. The cartridge was too heavy for the plane to hold, and it slowly started flying into the ground, and eventually crashed and exploded, killing thousands.
Before the explosion, Kekcroc jumped off to avoid any possible injuries. It fell for hours, but all good things come to an end, and it fell into the backyard of a little Guy's house. his name .. .... .. . . .. . .. ....... . . . ...... ... ... .. . . . .. . . .... was The Hembob😱😱😱😱.(me)
For all of those years, after it all, it was waiting for a time to strike. Everyday it was looking around my room and planning ways to destroy humanity as revenge for hating it and causing it's cancellation. it couldnt think of anything cool though so it just decided to jump on the miniature trampoline in my room and see what happens, because it knew wherever a miniature trampoline was located, a Death was soon to happen.
With this new information... I slowly got up. I told the Kekcroc that it was totally wrong about humanity.
I loved it. I cared about it. It was my best friend and game as a kid.
Kekcroc then froze... and slowly flew towards me. For the first time, it had a look of remorse on its face. I told it we could ignore the public opinion, and return to the good old days of gaming. I wiped off all the blood from my arms and offered Kekcroc a hug. It hugged me back. Once again, the power of friendship... comes in clutch.
i also secretly grabbed the gun in its pocket and shot it to death Hooray I saved the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I burned the no-longer-sentient cartridge, just to make sure.
So yeah, I had Kekcroc as a kid. But unfortunately my cartridge broke and it's lost media now. Sorry lol

I remember my kekcroc copy of the port on the Xbox 360 I played that game so much when I was kid my favorite part is when he said “it’s keking time” and keked everyone in the room.
What I identify and saw one time it's, a 8 bit fishing game with kekcroc. A pixel crocodile sitting on a dock with a fishing pole, on top it has a how many fish you got meter, a life meter with three red hearts. And it's odd that the intro I heard on UA-cam didn't say "hello, my name is kekcroc and welcome to my fishing game. For what I remember reading you also get a diploma you can print out when you win the game. Before you say where's the proof, well that's it I can't find it anymore. I saw it first on a baldie's basic wiki that had coldlycopter and then i click on the link that inspired the character and the page looked like the back of an old vhs tape. The background was yellow with a few pictures of kekcrock. Not knowing anything about kekcrock, I booked marked the page and left. A few days I tried looking up kekcrock on UA-cam and surprise that it said it was a lost game. I try to find the page of kekcrock but no luck, went back to the wiki but it said that the inspiration for coldlycopter was a mystery and the creator never said. My bookmark was gone, the link was gone and the memory of kekcrock is still in my mind.

Brooooo I had this game when I was -40 I am 11 rn I ate the DS disk and pooped it out and it teleported on the floor and I used water to clean it and put it in my telephone and put it on tiktok plus yea the toilet plunger broke to some how plus I remember how I fell in poop in the game and I broke like 30 toilets man being -51 years ago was amazing I knew every word.

I had access to a copy once back in 2011. I was playing it on my uncles sega genesis, It was so bad I just shot the system 7 times with my Dardick 1500, and then I mag dumped my uncle 3 more times because he was one of the developers. It made me sware off retro video games for life. I somehow was able to blame his dog and got away with it scot-free

For the terrible controls,unbeatable levels and other bad things about the game,i think the actual Kekcroc game was only in a early state,but someone in the studio who's has created the game has put the game in cartdrige and send it to production without telling anyone.After discovering that and because around 20000 copies of the game are already made,they decided to put the game in sale , the rest of the story is already telled by this video.
I think all the dark entries in the iceberg is really exagerated,also a PC remake of the game called "Kekcroc : it's Toasty Time !!!"has been planned with several changes i list below :
- Better Graphics (its obvious for a remake)
- Enhanced and BETTERS controls
- Difficulty levels (Easy,Medium,Hard,Expert (after beating all levels (including the secret world levels) and Kekcroc Time (Each levels have various modifiers,Kekcroc start with only 2 lives and no Continues)(unlocked after beating all levels in Expert mode)
- A total of 90 Levels + 10 Minigames area + 30 Chalenges levels (accessible after collecting 300000 Crocodollars in total and beat the final level in Hard mode)
- Various Costumes to unlock just for fun (by buying it,completing the Chalenges Levels and other ways)
- Various Modes : Story mode , Minigames , Multiplayer , Combat (you would be able to play as Kekcroc,Toasty and few enemies)
- Online and Local Mulptiplayer through the Story mode,Minigames (not all) and Combat mode
Sadly , no infos about the developement team,release date or other thing.
The only other thing i know about this remake is the fact the devs have planed to release a demo for free in severals magazines (The demo would be contained the entire first world, 4 minigames out of 10 and the possibility to transfer the save data to the full game to unlock several things (such as, a exclusive Dev costume for Kekcroc, the possibility to re-access the Tutorial Zone after beating all levels of the demo in Hard Mode without dying once, a exclusive badge on the player profile and few previews of the full game)

Man I had a copy of kekcroc on the gameboy in 2006 but it exploded out of nowhere i wonder why...
God I had a weird dream where I watched a weird Ice Age movie the floor starts cracking and Sid tries to seal it but fail and then Sid starts praying and there was this weird monkey or hippo like creature(Likely a hippo) who walks up hilariously looking like a jacked gangster who was wearing black pants for some reason before on his robe on, also Sid was wearing a robe for some reason. I also remember the weird hippo guy hilariously saying “I think prez is a word”. Also Diego was hunting and I do remember hearing Diego saying he could eat whatever he wants. Yeah it was just a dream, this plot doesn’t exist. That was just Dream Media. Have you ever had a weird dream where you watched a plot or movie of a franchise that doesn’t actually exist. Please tell me in the replies and make sure to tell me details that you find interesting.

@@Jayman872 Oh yeah, I remember when I first got my cartridge but right before I was gonna play it, Cleo De Nile wearing a black suit for some reason took it from me and then shot it to pieces, She told me it was for my own good. Later Me, Shrek, Spider-Man, and Tecna went to the theaters to watch Goku and Freiza go to KFC: The Movie. And no, My dream doesn’t have anything to do with this.

I saw a add for it on tv out of no where once. The only time it was aired.
It started with the line “Hi I’m kekroc” and some guy started taking. He said “That’s right! Kekroc is coming right to your sega genesis for only $19.99! (Something I don’t remember) Rock around the croc!” I think it has game play footage. He running around a green field. I think there was a boss behind him but I don’t remember what it was. He had a plunger.

My uncle Danean had a copy of the game he had Keckrock 1 and 2 in Nigeria when I was a baby but when I visited he was selling it but I broke it and ate one of its code chips so It cant work I have copies of it but it is in my toy box
