In Bengal in the recently concluded Durga Puja, thankfully no one asked for Aadhar card to enter a Puja pandal . It was open for every community and there were no major incident of Muslim boys misbehaving. In fact there was a Durga Puja organised by Muslim community. For once I too am pleasantly surprised by Rajat Sharma. Now you know why Durga Puja has got recognised by United Nation , because it is a cultural celebration of the people of all caste, community and religion. Garba is or at least used to be an occasion to rejoice and be happy.
Have you forgotten what happened to the walls near famous Mohammad Ali Park a few years ago? There were some artistic drawing on the of Hindu gods, but they were removed forcefully thereafter after a browhaha. In my town, a women's college is situated near a kabristan and to stop eve-teasing, adminstration has to arrange for permanent police posting!!. This is harsh reality, don't try to fool yourself.

If we believe, Sita ji could not have worn the kind of blouse she was shown in the TV series Ramayana, because stitching was still not a concept then. But then who am I to say. The anchors know best.

Take note that similar incident took place in Surat, Gujarat. At surat’s biggest navratri event in 2022. Bajrang dal had threatened the organisers because all of the organisers crowd control / bouncer staff belonged to muslim community. A fight had broke out one night, subsequently all the personnel with muslim background were replaced by new staffers on the next night. The incident is widely known in surat & sparingly reported in regional newspapers.
