I back packed 77 miles of the Appalachian Trail in the early ‘80’s. Hardest week of my life! Very rugged. Not much water. Rattlesnakes. I was in GA. Scrapped my plans to hike all 2004 miles of it 😂But this painting is on my wish list for sure. I ordered Peace of the Garden and received it yesterday 🎉No pink lines woo hoo! Thanks for unboxing this one! PS I never saw a turkey on the AT or in Cades Cove 🤷♀️ Luv ya!
Yes, this one I couldn’t myself to buy, because of the much more muted pallet. I do own a lot of Chuck’s, but I’ve bypassed several, just because of the muted pallets. IF, it had been a round, I might have been able to do it. I say that, but I’ve still not bought Autumn Bridge and it’s muted, but round. Even though I know I probably won’t ever get this particular painting, I still stopped and payed close attention to your drill presentation, that is always the most important part to me, is seeing those drills up close. It always concerns me, when you say you’re quickly going to go through them, but you kept it at a good pace, so I could see them.
Love his paintings. Waiting for my shipment of peace of the garden. Can’t wait until your march chuck along ( hopefully you are having it this year) as I plan on joining it and doing peace of the garden.
OMG!! I unboxed this kit along side you and OH!! It’s beautiful, I know what kit I am doing for the Chuckalong 😉 I have still held strong and not purchased the last kit released. I had to part with some of my chucks, I started selling them a while ago because I was getting too overwhelmed with how many there were!! I seem to have kept all big ones though 🤷♀️ they seem to be my favourites. 🥰🇦🇺🦘
Chuck is the king of muted, smokey colors in my opinion….grays, browns, greens. Beautiful landscape….thanks for your unboxing Mindy 🥰
