What disturbs me is fact, this is already 5 years old video. But this kind of energy source where you dont need 18th century watter vapor would be something trully new. As young guy I could not understand that we still need vapour to make energy even in 21 century... this might be real breakthrough.
Im not a scientist, english is not my first language but... "tubines" .... "chaged particles".. "versu"' ? This is the FIRST powerpoint slide and you are supposed to convince us you found a simple way to do what scientist tryied to do for nearly a century and your cant write turbines and charges particles.. Im concerned.
Indeed. Maybe the person who wrote it was dyslexic, which we can't really fault. Or perhaps the person who was presenting this just didn't care too much.
Trillions of dollars carbon taxes collected world wide. How many billions are funneled into this kind of research? That's what I thought.. Zero. Just keep playing the game.
Humans are too focused on dumb crap. They'd rather focus on some sport, rather than having even an iota of interest in the future or making the world a better place. There's nothing wrong with liking stuff, but it's the fact that nobody has any interest in it. Also yeah, the fact that some things get tons of funding and others don't is completely ridiculous.
@@idonthaveagoddamnname2623 Basically high technology is a threat to capitalism, they call it disruptive technology. Imagine if I had a power source that lasted 100 years, was clean and was cheap enough for everyone to build and own. This would mean everyone could produce all the electricity the country needs and power plants would be a thing of the past. All the businesses and technology for large power plants would be dead. A passive wealth source would be lost to the wealthy. No one would heat their homes with gas or oil. Cars would be powered from the energy you produce. Political moments could get people together to force change by shutting off the power to business. Power would shift from the top to the bottom. If people could get a small but decent passive income from the energy they produce to business they would no longer fear unemployment. Can be done by limiting supply. See diamonds. This would radically shift the balance of power.
This material is too interesting for a four minute video.

@@GodKitty677 interesting stuff, thanks for taking the time to fully explain everything. I pretty much forgot that the world exists 😅
uhh, actually hundreds of billions are funneled into fusion research.
