As a mature woman I appreciate all the techniqes you have given me. I felt lost knowing that I could not continue to try to put makeup on like I did when I was much younger. You have shown me on how to applying makeup without looking like silly. The young woman now who are doing reviews look beautiful and have great tips but it was not for a mature woman. At age 52 I got very ill. I am now 74 and worse than I was in the beginning of my illness. I had stopped useing makeup for many years until I saw your reviews and decided to try to make myself to feel better and look as best as I possible can. I dropped 40pds. I had lost a lot of my hair so I bought a couple of wigs. I cannot tell you how good I felt when I looked in the mirror! I don't do it everyday but enough that I am happy when I do it. So Thank You for making me feel alive again!!! Bless you & lots of hugs!!
It’s absolutely Beautiful and Natural which is what I have tried to achieve. I’m 71 and have loved this look all my life. You’re amazing and skilled at what You do. Thank You.
Thanks Nikol, could you please do a minimal look using drugstore products for ladies on a tight budget but still wanting to look put together.Watching and learning from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
I have Alopecia, no hair, and use bronzer to help define my face so it isn’t just a blank space, as hair gives your face a frame. I am so excited to buy your cream bronzer when it launches. I have always used powder and this will be a definite purchase.
YES! This "reverse" application is something I learned way back in the early 70's. It is a wonderful way to create "invisible" looks with makeup, that looks incredibly natural. Thanks for bringing this back and adding your own tips. Love your channel! (Age 67)
Nikol I love your style and your personality. I have done some of your tricks and must say what a beautiful difference!! I have found when speaking with women over 50 I recommend your channel. Thank you!!!!
I love your stick blushes, especially the red. My grandmother used to wear bright red lipstick. She also used it as her blush! Kid you not. But she was ALWAYS put together when she left the house.
This is great! I love how you’ve laid out the steps. Could you please do this regarding skincare? I loved your video on luxury skin products but 1. I don’t know what order you use them and 2. What cleanser, vitamin C, and retinol do you use and if so in what order with the luxury products do you use them? I need step by step 🤦♀️😂 Thanks!
Wonderful new products launching. Congratulations. Personally for me, I'd rather see more steps and more information rather than "minimal" information because then I can choose how many products I want to use on any given day. Thank you for being such a great advocate for mature women and for being such a good teacher.
I think it’s a perfect technique for the older woman. I’m excited to get this next year and change my technique to look radiant at my age. I’m 79 years young and have Nordic skin.
Thank You Nicole for another wonderful tutorial. Every bit helps for me. LOL. By the way, I love this back-ground, in your bathroom. Very nice. I'm hoping that you. are enjoying your new home and new space. Here's to gratitude for this year and a prosperous New Year. XOXO Debra in MD
As a 75 year old woman that just found you on u-Tube +++ I am really enjoying your channel with all your new techniques. I’ll be ordering some product to “get started “ this month. Thank you I’m really excited to try your example applications. I find your upbeat personality and honesty to be refreshing. Thanks again 🥰
Wo, that really did change the shape of Nikol's face -- it really pushed forward the center third of her face and gave it a lot of dimension. Great tips, thank you, Nikol. And as usual great production values.
This was AMAZING!!! I never wore makeup growing up, and even into my 30s. I was blessed with lovely, healthy, English rose skin. But now that I have turned the corner on 50, I need help. I followed your instructions and good heavens, even my husband noticed!!! THANK YOU!!!
I love the new blush sticks and I enjoyed the old version as well but it’s nice to have a more strategic application with the stick. I also love the quality of the packaging-how the cap snaps on firmly and won’t fall off and get ruined and won’t get all over everything else in my makeup case. I’ve wondered about a creamy bronzer stick! I’m looking forward to that!
Lovely fresh, natural look. I will have to treat myself in the new year. Being very pale, I often find I use foundation shades as natural looking blushers, so the pink shade would be better for me. Good luck with your business, it must be exhausting, but fun as well. Wish I was more driven.
I just found you last week and am excited ! I’m learning so much from you and really appreciate your demonstrations! I now have a renewed interest in skincare and makeup and at 6l, it’s long overdue!! Thank you Nikol!!!❤
I’m very interested in this technique. I’ll try a version of this. Thank you. I love the information you provided. It’s always a variety of techniques and suggestions that allows each women to shape to their desired look. ❤
I adore the blush bronzer sticks!!! I will be doing this lit from within! I'm so grateful you keep us in the loop with new techniques, it can't be easy to find time. Thank you for always showing up for us, 🎉❤ 😊
I just ordered and received your wonderful makeup brushes! They are beautifully made and packaged! Thank you! I am also very keen to research your channel in order to learn how to use them all! I appreciate your makeup demonstrations so much! Thank you for sharing your talents!!
I’m 63 and have been trying to minimize the amount of makeup I wear. But I LOVE all makeup and it’s a challenge getting it to look just right these days. But it can be done. Let’s face it … mature women don’t need to pile it on because we are already seasoned and beautiful naturally 😍
Hey Nikol! One way you could get your makeup refill stay put inside the decorative case would be to drip a little melted candle wax into the case and then press the refill insert into the soft wax. Then when it's time to change out the refill, just stick the whole thing into the freezer for awhile - the insert should pop right out once the wax hardens. Love your video - I'm of a certain age, and this reverse (others call it underpainting) method works wonders! Thanks for the video!
This looks great and I am definitely going to try this method of application! I love cream blush but I do set it with powder blue to get it to last longer.
I will be excited to try this method under the BB Cream! I’m still holding out for the up coming relaunch of your Nikol Beauty BB Cream! I love getting excited about new self care techniques, many thanks 😊
Very excited to try this new technique! I typically don't use contour sticks, but I love how you did this look. Your blushes are beautiful! I will be purchasing your color correcting sticks. I have dark circles and redness (ugh!). Plus my eyes always water after I put on concealer so it just washes away and I feel like I have to keep putting on more (fun times in the morning) 😂 I recently purchased your eye primer and a lipstick from you. The packaging is gorgeous (like you) but I love the products. I'm going shopping again very soon!! Thanks Phenom!! ❤
I love this look, can't wait for the new items to release in the new year. The new bathroom setting has the best lighting, it's perfect for your videos. Thank you for everything you do! I'm excited to try this new look.
I love your products! They have some of the most realistic tones for skin of all shades. And you show how to use it in a way that I can actually copy on my face! Thank you! This look is amazing! 💕
I have to say as I get older that using a tinted sunscreen or moisturizer seems more natural for me. Adding bronzer and blusher this way is a great way to have that finished look without all the extra makeup that I feel shows up too many wrinkles. love this!
You read my mind; I was going to complain about the tops of the cream blushes; thanks for reminding us it is a snap top; I was worried about the blush drying out; I was finding them topless in my drawer.
I love it! I’m 70, and I will certainly be trying the reverse! Thanks as always Love you and all your videos and thank you for all your hard work for all us Ladies!! Love from Maryland!!
Definitely trying the scalping technique. I'm still trying to conceal the dark areas on my under eye without the cakey look. The Blending make up brush is my new best friend. Thank you for educating this 76 year old ❤ Happy Holidays 🎄
I love this and I am going to buy all the stuff to do it. I am 62 and have been blessed with good skin. Nobody believes I am almost 63 but I have never required all that stuff. Now I find myself with melasma and it seems my makeup finds every line and wrinkle. I have reached the time when less is more for sure.
Looks so pretty!!! I finally was able to purchase some thing from your website the primer for the eyelids and I did order the most popular lipstick. The primer is awesome. The lipstick was nice but didn’t quite look that great on me but can’t wait to try more of your products. Love your videos.
Very nice and natural looking. I have recently been watching your videos and enjoying them. I am not a big makeup user but I feel the time has come I am in my late 60s and I can tell my eyes are wrinkled I have hooded eyes and the wrinkles are starting to show them out around my lips. Thank you for these tutorials I will the shopping on your website. My skin is medium toned.
That’s a beautiful technique Nicole, the darker blush reminded me of my Mum who wore a blush daily right on the apple of her cheeks , now I’m talking over 40 years ago and I have always tended to use a lighter shade but not quiet on the apple I might just try it. Love the way you did your eye shadow one colour looks great . Thank you. 🌷💕✨
I was excited to watch this video. I thought it was really interesting, but I also like at the end how you said you could do less you could try the bronzer first - always great advice.

Thank you so much for this video. To be 100% honest, bronzer scares me. I have a fair complexion and feel that I could use the warmth of a bronzer to add some color to my skin and warm my complexion. I've tried a few times to apply bronzer, however, I was applying it kind of as a "last step" after I had applied all my other makeup. I never thought about applying it first then applying my foundation and letting the bronzer radiate through my foundation. I will definitely be trying this method.

Looove the look. Will definately give it a try. I like the natural vibe. Thanx for helping out us mature (74) women. Take care.
I love your stick blushes, especially the red. My grandmother used to wear bright red lipstick. She also used it as her blush! Kid you not. But she was ALWAYS put together when she left the house.
The red lipstick also used as blush is always a winner. Looks gorgeous on everyone.
This is great! I love how you’ve laid out the steps. Could you please do this regarding skincare? I loved your video on luxury skin products but 1. I don’t know what order you use them and 2. What cleanser, vitamin C, and retinol do you use and if so in what order with the luxury products do you use them?
I need step by step 🤦♀️😂
Thanks!
Always looking for a bronzer that is more red based to look like a slight sunburn which is more natural looking on cool, fair skin.
I also have cool, very pale skin and that bronzer looks very yellow, would make me look sick
Yes, I was thinking the same thing - kind of jaundice looking. Perhaps it was the lighting. I've never seen a yellow based bronzer.@@kathrynp7595

I like the way you applied the bronzer ,as I am using less makeup this point in time.
You’re so cute Nikol! I see you had more blush than usual and I want to say that you look best with that extra colour.
Oh thank you!
The big takeaway is how it enhances the natural beauty without changing it. Lovely! The brontour underneath is very pretty.
