Being a fan of Kevin Smith's movies in the 90's dovetailed beautifully into being a Soul Asylum fan. Dave Pirner even put together an amazing soundtrack for Smith's third movie Chasing Amy (which, sadly, never was released on CD.)
Dave never lose it even after decades! I have so much admiration for your vocal and the emotion you brought out in your voice. Truly a rare 💎 gem. Not many singers are as talented as Dave Pirner.

Because the halftime sets are being changed and moved around constantly so the chances of something going wrong while having to mic every instrument plus vocals is too high for the NFLs liking. Since it’s one of the most viewed events in the world

This was before the SB, and halftime acts have to lip synch and especially have music prerecorded because of the tight time schedule
