What do you use as an epoxy for the carbon fiber. I’ve built a long board and want to reinforce it with carbon fiber. Also how much more rigid does it make the board? Keep at it. I started making boards over 10 yrs ago. Made some for a few friends and never stuck with. I wish I had. It was dope having people give me feedback and folks asking me where I got it.

I made a form with plexiglass and wood and layered fiberglass and then casted a matching mold from that half, many more layers of fiberglass and some extra wood for reinforcement later it got lots of bondo and was shaped to size, at the end I coated it with a few layers of gel coat. It was a terrible way of making it, and it saw many fixes over the years but the end result was pretty good. Ill def make a video on it in the coming weeks and if u have any more questions feel free to ask
