Hi Dijon, no, not at all - the long haul flight from London, I checked the Away Medium Flex, which I am going to review next month. From Phuket to Phi Phi, I just took the Away 26ltr F.A.R backpack for the weekend.
I also took an internal flight from Phuket to Bangkok with Thai Airways, this was great, great service, I checked the Away Medium, and brought the F.A.R backpack on as carry on, no issues at all.

Hi Vijay, I'm really not sure of the name of the operator, all the bookings I did was via the local lady, Nokky, who operates the juice bar next to 7-11 on Soi Taied. Everything was booked in person with physical and WhatsApp receipts.
