When Imtiaz ali casted avinash tiwary and Tripti Dimri in this movie no one gave importance to them then when ghost stories came karan johar casted avinash tiwary and munral thakur for his part then again everyone was running after janhvi kapoor and agian imtiaz ali cast casted an outsider Arushi Sharma with a starkid sara ali khan in love aaj kal everyone was interested in a starkid and this is how starkids get famous

We are Hypocrites. On one hand Dhadak gets a bumper opening due to Sridevi's daughter's presence and here on the other hand Laila Majnu which ain't a Nepotism product (as we Indians cry against Nepotism for not letting talents from non filmy background come up) gets an opening of 50 lakhs. Laila Majnu is a great film with terrific performances. (YES! TERRIFIC!!!!! Especially by Avinash Tiwary!!!!) Wish more people watch this film as this film deserves all the praise.

The most beautiful😘 movie , I have ever seen. And the heart touching dialogue is when Qais interrupts a group of people reading namaz and he says “ Main apne Mashuk se baat kar raha tha, isliye main aapko nhi dekh paya. Per aap bhi toh apne Mashuk(god) se baat kar rahe the toh aapne mujhe kese dekh liya”. Most beautifully said that praying to god is like interacting with the loved one in which a person forgets the world and flows in the love of god😊

Running after college too see the last show of this movie in theatre is one of the best things I’ve done when it comes to cinema!

I had watched this movie in 2020 and trust me it's a masterpiece. Avinash and tripti have portrayed their emotions like anything. And when you know it's a Imtiaz Ali Film then you should definitely watch this.

I'm very disapointed with the rating of this film... The movie is sooo good!! The actors can actually act (the girl is a good actor but I know she can improve her acting a lot in the future... Tho the guy's acting is just amazing! His role was very hard to do especially at the end, but he really pulled it off) I'm very sad that the whole cinema was empty, ppl really missed out on a great movie.
Honestly speaking, the start of the film was kinda cringy and just not the best start in general. But as the movie continued, it really got better. And the story line is very unexpected, which is great too.

I re-watched it 2 days ago. I just can't get over this movie. I have watched it multiple times and it never seems enough. The storyline, the cast, the ost, everything is just on point. I have no complaints from this movie whatsoever.
The song in the end heals me and makes me feel happy for their union.🧡

Laila Majnu is sooo good. The songs🤌🏽✨ the cinematography. Just wow. The male lead's acting is beyond words. How come this underrated movies never do go. Anyway, the power of love and heartbreak! Also, the friends of both the lead sticking by them till the end. 😩 And the subtle metaphors and philosophical innuendos in the entire movie is intriguing🥲🥲

Before Sanam Teri Kasam and now Laila-Majnu...both are perfect love stories. There are multiple scenes that will make your heart cry for the girl and boy.

That's exactly what came to my mind. This Laila Majnu comes right after Sanam Teri Kasam. The two of these could be literally competing against each other and realise it's no point and go equally on top.

The movie is actually too awesome.....the trailer doesn't catch the full experience but the movie is actually so good that this is going to be the first movie I'm going to watch again.... the acting was on point....story also captures a wide range of feelings and the epic true love....it's damn relatable....this movie gave me the most goosebumps ever!

I have no words to describe the beauty of this movie. I was completely floored by the performances. The leads were honest to go the best onscreen chemistry I have ever seen, beats any big stars!! It is unfortunate that the audiences have missed out on such a gem, a shame really that movies like Kabir Singh (complete garbage imo) was more successful than this masterpiece. The ending is so deep, it might confuse some folks. The ending is beyond words, you cannot imagine how deep the movie went! It is one of the finest movies of Indian cinema! The best epic romance Iv watched

Beautiful movie if you get into that space and feel it....you may find a bit off if you are expecting a typical Bollywood style love tragedy...beautiful performances, specially by Avinash Tiwari (had goose bumps when he returns and meets Laila- la ilah, the first time and just collapses looking at her).
Music is haunting and mesmerizing, Niladari Kumar had done wonders with Tum and Aahista- whole album is on repeat since I went for the movie.
Sad the movie it is not being appreciated by Indian audiences, as much as it should be.
